IELTS Part Three of the Speaking Test.

The format

You know when Part Three has started because you will hear the examiner say:

🗣Ok we’ve just been talking about (public transport) and now like to ask you one or two general questions related to this topic. So first of all let’s talk about…

🔹It is important to realize that in Part Three the focus of questions and topics changes.

As we have already seen, in Part One and Part Two the focus of the topics and questions is “you” or “your life”.

Part One Part Two

Do YOU like… Describe YOUR favorite

How often do YOU… Describe something YOU like doing…

Tell me about X in YOUR city. Describe something that is popular in YOUR country

In Part Three, there is a definite change in the focus. ... more 👇

Question from our member

How to speak like a native English speaker

👤I just wanna speak like a native English speaker.. Can you give me some ways on how to get that goal?

@ingliztiliuzz team

👨‍🦰It is impossible to speak like a native speaker of any language unless you grow up in those environments . The only thing you can do is to have an aproximate perfect pronunciation, but it's never gonna be the same as a native. The best way to have the best possible pronunciation is by learning the sound system (manner and point of articulation) of the target language first of all.

👨🏻‍🦱To speak like a native you have to speak a lot (especially with native speakers). If you live in an English-speaking country, pay attention to the English conversations around you. If not, you can use telegram group to contact people - https://t.me/ingliztiliuzzgroup, here you can improve your speaking by chatting written or voice message
