To solve problems like fragmented liquidity and limited liquidity, DEX aggregators help by working together with AMMs in the areas of:

-Reducing fragmentation by aggregating liquidity from multiple DEXes.
-Pooling liquidity from various DEXes or AMMs.
-Controlling price impact.
-Multi-splitting a trade across several AMMs or DEXes, accessing deeper liquidity .

These help in making each portion of the trade executed at the best available price on that platform and the aggregator combines the results to give you a better overall execution price with minimal slippage.
