About the Role:
Hummingbird Bioscience is seeking an Intern to assist in antibody engineering and small-scale antibody production activities in the Antibody Engineering department. The intern will be trained and assist on DNA preparation, cloning, antibody production and purification. Maintaining good written records of laboratory procedures and analyzing the results are also expected. The intern will participate and attend group/team meetings and may have opportunities to work closely with other departments to learn the details of on-going projects that will require novel method development.
Responsibilities:
Assist in laboratory work using a wide range of microbiology and molecular biology techniques for antibody engineering purpose
Assist in small scale antibody production and purification
Assist in antibody affinity characterization
Assist in preparation of reports, presentations, and experimental writeups.
Assist in performing laboratory housekeeping and ensure a good lab environment according to company guidelines
Other ad-hoc duties as assigned
Required Qualifications:
Currently enrolled in a biology, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences or related Degree program
Knowledge in microbiology, molecular biology, and biochemistry
Basic laboratory experience
Good communication and inter-personal skills

Experience and Qualifications:
