Role Overview
As an AI Engineer Intern, you’ll be part of the core team building an agentic AI infrastructure that can:
- Generate new trading features using methods like analogy, reverse engineering, and brute-force composition
- Classify and tag those features into meaningful groups
- Validate logic, backtest results, and determine what works
- Autonomously write and debug trading strategy code in C++/Python
- Create and manage a growing feature and strategy library with real P&L attribution

What You’ll Do

What We Look For
Currently pursuing or recently completed a relevant degree, ideally from leading universities such as NUS, NTU, SUTD, and SMU. Strong candidates from other institutions will also be considered.
Strong academic performance, ideally distinction or above, alongside evidence of initiative, ownership, and high-quality execution.
Basic understanding of AI/ML workflows, including data preprocessing, model training, and deployment, or a strong willingness to learn.
Familiarity with tools such as Python, SQL, or Jupyter Notebooks.
Comfortable working with APIs, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure), and automation tools.
Strong organisational and analytical skills with attention to detail.
Ability to document processes, track experiments, and manage version control (e.g., Git).
Comfortable using AI tools beyond simple chat workflows to accelerate analysis, drafting, research, and execution.
Strong process thinking and a habit of documenting workflows clearly.

About The Role
We’re looking for an AI Operations Intern to help operationalise AI-enabled workflows across research, execution, and internal process support. This role sits at the intersection of tooling, process, and business operations, with a focus on making work faster, more reliable, and easier to scale.
