Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani attended the central celebration held in Baghdad to mark the centenary of the remarkable Iraqi poet and trailblazer of modern Arabic poetry, Nazik Al-Malaika. The event saw the esteemed presence of numerous Iraqi and Arab writers, intellectuals, and literary figures.
The following are highlights from His Excellency’s speech at the ceremony:
🔷 Nazik Al-Malaika's literary prowess sparked a profound cultural shift, addressing the pressing need for change within Iraqi and Arab culture.
🔷 Nazik Al-Malaika triumphed over challenges, constraints, and literary norms, harnessing her poetic prowess to create captivating imagery that heralded a remarkable modern intellectual breakthrough.
🔷 Two months ago, Iraqi schools received a directive to dedicate the Thursday morning speech to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Nazik Al-Malaika's birth to honor her influential legacy and recognize the invaluable contribution of women in building a strong and vibrant society.
🔷 An Iraqi sculptor has been commissioned to create a statue in honor of poet Nazik Al-Malaika. This remarkable sculpture will be placed in one of Baghdad's vibrant squares, serving as a timeless tribute to her extraordinary literary contributions.
🔷 To honor the centenary of Nazik Al-Malaika's birth, the Postal Department has been directed to issue a special postage stamp featuring her portrait.
🔷 Iraq continues to nurture and inspire an abundance of creators and writers who represent an invaluable and inexhaustible wealth with their boundless creativity.
🔷 The anniversary of Nazik Al-Malaika coincides with the centenary celebration of the founding of the College of Education Ibn Rushd. The establishment had a profound influence on remarkable individuals and educational institutions in shaping Iraq's intellectual and literary heritage. This institution has consistently nurtured exceptional minds and contributed to Iraq's academic eminence. Throughout its history, both as Dar al-Mu'allim al-'Alia in the past and as the College of Education / Ibn Rushd today, this esteemed institution has consistently fostered intellectual brilliance, making significant contributions to our nation's educational landscape.
🔷 The government remains steadfast in its commitment to fostering cultural development. We actively monitor the needs and concerns of writers, artists, and intellectuals, holding regular meetings to ensure their voices are heard, and their endeavors are supported.
🔷 We will soon launch an initiative aimed at supporting cinema, drama, theater, book printing, children's literature, music, and various literary and artistic activities.

🔷 نازک ئەلمەئیکە سەرەرای هەموو تەگەرەکان و کوانەکانی ئەدەبی وشک، توانی بەرهەمێکی هەڵبەست بەرەو دەستپێکردنێکی هزری هاوچەرخ بەرهەم بێنێت.
🔷 پێش لەدوو مانگ داوامان کرد لەهەموو قوتابخانەکانی عێراق کە وتەی رۆژی پێنچەشەممانی بەیانی یەک بێت لەسەر نازک ئەلمەلائیکە، و ڕۆڵی ئافرەتان لەبیناکردنی کۆمەڵگا وبەبۆنەی سەد ساڵەی یادی لەدایکبوونی.
🔷 یەکێک لەنیگارکێشەکانی عێراقی راسپاردەکراوە بۆئەوەی پەیکەرێکی گەورە بۆ هەڵبەستڤان لەیەکێک لەگۆرەپانەکانی بەغدا دروست بکات.
🔷 داوامان لەفەرمانگەی پۆستە و گەیاندن کردووە بەدەرخستنی پولێکی پۆستە بەوێنەی نازک ئەلمەلائیکە و یادی سەد ساڵەکەی.
🔷 عێراقیەکان دەست لەدایکردنەوەی ئەدیب و بەهرەدارانی خۆ بەرنادەن، چونکە سامانی ئێمەیە کەهیچ لێیان کەم نابێتەوە.
🔷 یادی لەدایکبوونی نازک ئەلمەلائیکە هاوکاتە لەگەڵ یادی سەد ساڵەی دامەزراندنی کۆلیژی پەروەردە/ ئیبن روشد، کەنازک ئەلمەلائیکە لێی دەرچووە، و عێراقی بەباشترین هۆش دەوڵەمەندکردووە کەشانازیەکی ئەکادیمی دایمەزراندووە، ئەوجا چ بەناوی کۆنەوە ( ماڵی مامۆستایانی باڵا) بێت یان بەناوی کۆلیژی پەروەردەی/ ئیلن روشد بێت.
🔷 پشتگیری بایەخدانی بەردەوامی حکومەت دووپات دەکەینەوە بۆ بواری ڕۆشنبیری، بەڕێگای چاودێریکردنی بەردەوم بۆ کاروباری ئەدیب و هونەرمەند و نووسەران و سازکردنی دیدارەکان لەگەڵیان.

رئيس مجلس الوزراء السيد محمد شياع السوداني يستقبل وزير الخارجية التشيكي

استقبل رئيس مجلس الوزراء السيد محمد شياع السوداني، اليوم الخميس، وزير خارجية جمهورية التشيك السيد يان ليبافسكي والوفد المرافق له.
وشهد اللقاء التباحث في تعزيز التعاون الثنائي في مجالات الزراعة والطاقة والصحّة والنقل الجوي، والبعثات الدراسية، ومناقشة سبل زيادة حجم التبادل التجاري بين العراق وجمهورية التشيك.
وأعرب سيادته عن ترحيبه بالوزير والوفد الضيف، مشيراً إلى أنّ العراق قد تجاوز الصعوبات الأمنية، وأنّ الأبواب مفتوحة أمام الشراكات المثمرة مع جميع الأصدقاء، مؤكداً أنّ الفرصة متاحة للشركات التشيكية للمساهمة في الخطط الحكومية الخاصّة بإعمار البنى التحتية وتحديث الخدمات.
وأشار السيد السوداني إلى مواقف جمهورية التشيك الإيجابية والمسانِدة لجهود القوات الأمنية العراقية في حربها على الإرهاب، ضمن جهود التحالف الدولي لمكافحة الإرهاب وبعثة حلف شمال الأطلسي التدريبية في العراق، مبيناً أنّ الحكومة تسعى إلى صياغة رؤية جديدة بين العراق والتحالف الدولي، على أساس الحاجة الفعلية والرؤى المستقبلية للتحديات.
من جانبه أكّد الوزير التشيكي ترحيب حكومة بلاده بالخطوات الاقتصادية العراقية، التي تعزز الاستقرار والتنمية المستدامة، مُثنياً على التوجّه الإيجابي المستقبلي الذي قدّمته الحكومة العراقية، وبيّن أنّ وفداً من رجال الأعمال وممثلين عن عشرين شركة تشيكية، يزور العراق حالياً للبحث في فرص التعاون الاقتصادي المشترك.
كما قدّم السيد ليبافسكي دعوةً رسميةً من رئيس جمهورية التشيك إلى السيد رئيس مجلس الوزراء لزيارة التشيك، من أجل توثيق العلاقات الثنائية وتدعيمها لما فيه مصلحة البلدين الصديقين.

Today, Prime Minister Mr. Mohammed S. Al-Sudani received the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Czech Republic, Mr. Jan Lipavský, and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, they had constructive discussions on strengthening bilateral cooperation across various sectors, including agriculture, energy, health, air transport, scholarships, and strategies to boost trade between Iraq and the Czech Republic.
His Excellency warmly welcomed the Czech Minister of Foreign Affairs and the guest delegation, highlighting Iraq's successful navigation through security challenges.

استقبل رئيس مجلس الوزراء السيد محمد شياع السوداني، اليوم الخميس، وزير خارجية جمهورية التشيك السيد يان ليبافسكي والوفد المرافق له.
وشهد اللقاء التباحث في تعزيز التعاون الثنائي في مجالات الزراعة والطاقة والصحّة والنقل الجوي، والبعثات الدراسية، ومناقشة سبل زيادة حجم التبادل التجاري بين العراق وجمهورية التشيك.
