Meet Arafat, an international student from Bangladesh who was inspired to study information security after a cyberattack shook his country in 2014.
"In 2014, the Reserve Bank of Bangladesh was hacked and a massive sum of money was looted. After this disaster, everyone started taking cybersecurity seriously. I also want to contribute to this cause and help my country become more secure digitally," says Arafat.

Recently, the AI Alliance association published its second ranking of Russian universities working in the field of AI. Once again, ITMO took a spot among the leaders, alongside the HSE and MIPT. In total, the organization evaluated 207 universities.
