Yesterday was my birthday.
A new chapter begins, and as always, it’s a time to look back, reflect, and ask myself:
What changed? What got better? What did I achieve? And where do I want to go from here?

This year was full of firsts and full of growth:
• I graduated
• I volunteered
• I traveled
• I got into med school — a dream that turned into reality
• I met beautiful people — friends, mentors, and someone very special
• I found a new kind of family
• I worked in Germany for the first time
• I started building a vision of what I want to do in life
• I stepped into a hospital not just as a visitor, but as a future doctor — talked to patients, stood in operating rooms, and felt something shift inside me

And yes — I also went through some hard moments. Quiet struggles, doubts, and days when I needed all my strength just to keep moving.
But that’s also part of growth.

This year changed me.
Not completely — but deeply.
I’ve become someone stronger, more grounded, and a little more sure of who I am becoming.

Some thoughts I want to keep close:

• Health and peace of mind are everything
• You don’t achieve to prove anything to others — you prove to yourself that you’re growing, becoming who you’re meant to be
• Happiness comes with goals — or even just the search for them
Give to the world — and it gives back.
• Studying matters. Learning matters. It’s not always easy, and it takes time to find your rhythm — but give yourself that time.
• If it scares you — it’s a sign: do it. Step out of your comfort zone and grow.

This past year taught me a lot.
And to myself, I wish:
More calm. More courage. More structure.
To read more,
write down my goals, and go after them.
To love people and this world a little more each day.
To keep going — one step at a time — because I know I’ll get there.
Slowly. Kindly. Confidently.

And to you, reading this:

Take your time. Don’t rush your journey.
Keep learning. Keep growing.
Even when it’s hard.
Especially when it’s hard.
You’re becoming who you’re meant to be — and that’s worth everything.

You got this.
With love, from me to me — and to you too

Hey everyone!
As I’m taking it slow these days (my kidneys needed some attention), I thought it’s the perfect time to share the story about Budapest, just like I promised ✨

At the end of the 18th century, a young Russian grand duchess named Alexandra Pavlovna, daughter of Emperor Paul I, married Archduke Joseph of Austria and moved to Vienna. She arrived in breathtaking dresses, wearing diamonds and carrying the grace of the Russian imperial court 👑

But in Vienna, her elegance was not celebrated — it was quietly pushed aside. At a royal ball, she appeared in a stunning gown that left everyone speechless… but not in the way you’d hope. She wasn’t invited again.

Later, she moved to Budapest, and there… everything changed. People were drawn to her warmth and charisma. They applauded her appearances, admired her beauty, and welcomed her authenticity ❤️ She wore traditional dresses, connected with the locals — and in return, they called her “the Queen of the Hungarians.”

This story made me reflect.

Living in Germany, I’ve often noticed surprised looks when I wear something more feminine, elegant, or just boldly me. And I think many Slavic girls can relate to this feeling 💫 There’s a presence, a way of showing yourself to the world, that’s deeply rooted in our cultures.

And maybe, just like Alexandra, we carry it with us — wherever we go. 🤭

What about you?
Have you ever experienced this kind of cultural contrast? I’d love to hear your thoughts! 💬

Happy May 1st!
Yesterday was a public holiday in Germany — and honestly, one we all truly deserve
We’ve been working hard: studying , running around, juggling family, university, sports , life…
And sometimes, in all this rush, we forget the most important part — ourselves ❤️

Last week I ended up with a kidney infection
Yes, because I ignored the first symptoms.
Because I thought: “I don’t have time for this. I’ll rest later.”
I kept pushing, until I found myself in bed with a 39.4°C fever on Friday — the exact day I had an exam at uni.
Of course, I missed it.
And now I can only retake it in September

All of that just because I didn’t slow down and listen to my body.

So here’s what I’ve learned — and what I want to share with you today:
Your health comes first. Always.
Not your grades, not your deadlines, not people’s expectations.
If something feels wrong — go check it ✅
Go to the doctor 🧑‍⚕️
Cancel plans ❌
Rest 🧘‍♀️

Because no achievement is worth it if you’re burning out on the inside

Take care of your body 🫀
Take care of your mind 🧠
Take care of you 💛

You’re the only one who truly can.

Hey everyone!

Just a quick update: I haven’t disappeared —
life got super intense lately.

📚 I’m studying full-time,
💼 working,
🚗 doing driving school (exam soon!),
🏐 playing volleyball,
🎓 attending scholarship events,
🧸 and I recently joined the Teddy Clinic as a volunteer.

👩🏻‍❤️‍👨🏻 On top of that — I’m in a relationship, and maybe even moving soon.

⸻

With all that going on,
I just didn’t have the time or energy to stay active here. 😮‍💨

But today I talked about my blog at a scholarship event
and got so much support —
and then one of you messaged me, just to ask how I’m doing.
That really touched me.🥺

So, I’m back.
Not with heavy medical content just yet — I’m still studying!
But I do want to share more of my life again — the little things, the honest stuff.

💬 Also — I haven’t forgotten your questions!
I wrote them all down and I’ll answer them in a YouTube video I’ve already started filming.
🎥 I visited my old Studienkolleg, got a tripod as a gift — the video is on the way.

Thank you so much for still being here.
Your support really means the world. ❤️
