BREAKING: BACK DOOR LOOP HOLE IN MOTION TO TURN JOHNSON COUNTY INTO A SANCTUARY CITY STARTING WITH LENEXA, KANSAS USING WOKE LIBERAL CHURCHES AS HOMELESS SHELTERS!
Unconfirmed reports the super woke Majority Johnson County Board of Commissioners is pressuring the city of Lenexa to change the city zoning codes to create a loop hole that will allow woke liberal Churches that are largely empty (few attend them anymore), to operate as religious homeless shelters. (Unclear if the County would be funding them or not, but tax dollars may fund them).
Even after acknowledging the potential disaster this amendment could create in the city and flowing into the entire county, the Planning Commission reportedly caved to the pressure and recommended this code zoning adoption. Their only attempt to manage the flood of non residents was to lower the maximum number of homeless beds from 450 to 250.
Once again, reportedly the woke globalists who are working over time to radically change Johnson County, refused to simply modify the code, that anyone who would stay at the Church homeless shelters must prove they have lived in Johnson County before they became homeless.
Having owned a home or had a lease and paid rent for a period of time, even if just for 6 months. Something that would show County residents this is an actual attempt to help our community members who have fallen on hard times with housing and not a backdoor scheme to flood the county with non residents.
While the changes in the Federal level are evident, there does not appear to be any change in the county Commissioners agenda to in any way have learned from just months ago when they had their Lenexa Homeless Shelter agenda fail, for doing the exact same things they are trying to do all over again.
Rejecting any and all efforts to use reasonable guidelines to keep any housing options for local residents in need.
This time, they are looking to the hyper woke liberal Churches, to try and get their foot in the door. How much money would the county be paying these woke liberal Churches to operate these Homeless Shelters? What are the salaries going to be of these woke compassion leaders who operate the shelters? $500k? $200K?
How much USAID are these local liberal Churches taking in? Any? None? Where is the money coming from? Are property taxes being used to fund these efforts? Doubling the property taxes of the middle class and then turning around to flood their neighborhoods with non residents wondering the streets all day?
Where is the money coming from to fund this agenda? Why would the funds not be used where there are already zoned areas that help people in need? Why is there a hell bent agenda to radically change Johnson County with these no requirement homeless shelters? Where families live with kids and their kids walk past to go to school each day and back home? What is behind this agenda?
The most critical point? Reportedly, the director of the woke Church group openly admitted at this week’s meeting—on a live mic—that NONE of their residents are from Lenexa. So why the hell is the City Council even considering a vote on what has no relevance at all for the tax payers of Lenexa?
These globalists have openly have admitted their agenda, to flood the county, with people who are not from here, who have never lived here and who have never paid any taxes here.
Putting those who have lived here and are in need last. It is the same woke globalist agenda all over again.
If you do not support this total lack of responsible planning, contact the Lenexa City Council opposing this amendment, and show up in force at the February 18th meeting at 7 PM, where the final vote will take place in Lenexa.

Lenexa City Vote on Expanding City Zoning and Permits to allow woke Churches to open 250 homeless shelter beds for non residents. All Johnson County residents are encouraged to contact Lenexa, as this agenda will spread to every other city in JOCO, if they get it in Lenexa.
The city of Lenexa a few months ago voted no, to stop the County agenda to turn the La Quinta Inn into a Homeless Shelter.
But, the County woke agenda, has now targeted the City of Lenexa all over again, to force it in through a loop hole, backdoor, using woke liberal Churches in Lenexa.
