In the silence of an abandoned temple,
an ancient creature waited for centuries…
watching empires rise and fall.

Today, the last Kyūbi walks among us once more.

No one knew how.
No one saw when.
But the seal… has broken.
And the Kyūbi is no longer where it used to be.

The Kyūbi is now loose.
It could no longer be contained.
But its freedom won't last forever.
Something is approaching.
Someone...
From the pact, nine will be born.

At the exact moment when everything could collapse…

she appeared.

Her presence halted the fury of the beast.

What was born afterwards was not peace.

It was the beginning of something new.

Something is breaking.
Through the earth and in the essence of the world itself.

Its fragments now drift apart…
guided by invisible forces.

The pact did not break its power, it transformed it.

That nine-tailed fox was given a new name: KITSU.

From a single being were born nine states of its soul.

Nine echoes with a will of their own.

Unpredictable. Powerful. Beautiful… and dangerous.
