ENGLISH 🇬🇧 ДЛЯ САМОСТОЯТЕЛЬНЫХ
Having always dreamt of going on a retreat tour somewhere far and hot where I can find peace and quiet, I keep reminding myself of the necessity to start meditating. At least, I am capable of doing that without going anywhere. Easier said than done. The application…
Are you a successful person? If yes, what have you done to become one or were like this from the day you were born?
⠀
It is so convenient to blame your gene code or your ancestors for being not a Mozart. However, it is now scientifically proven that neither genes, nor your grandparents are responsible for that. On the contrary, it is just the matter of hard work and persistence. The more meaningful experience you get and the more effort you make, the greater your results will be. My husband keeps telling me that I have found my niche. Yet, I actually haven't looked for it, I have just consistently been doing what I love and here I am - teaching adults to become high-profile professionals in their realm of work.
⠀
Now I am reading the book "Mindset" where two types of thinking are depicted: the so-called fixed and growth mindsets. I will use the quotes so that you can learn about them.
⠀
"In the fixed mindset, everything is about the outcome. If you fail—or if you’re not the best—it’s all been wasted.
⠀
The growth mindset allows people to value what they’re doing regardless of the outcome. They’re tackling problems, charting new courses, working on important issues. Maybe they haven’t found the cure for cancer, but the search was deeply meaningful."
⠀
Isn't it great? The whole notion of work being enjoyable is to my liking ❤️
⠀
What about you? What kind of mindset do you have? Honestly, I can recognise both types in myself.
