These are the most basic foundations of any Muslims’ belief. And these foundations have been given to us in the Qur’an and the Sunnah. Imaam Ibnul Qayyim (rahimahullaah)
This person who abandoned the verses of Allaah and followed his desires, did so out of severe eagerness for the worldly life; and due to his heart being disconnected from Allaah and the afterlife. He is extremely eager for the dunyah and his eagerness is similar to the constant eagerness of a dog whether it is troubled or left alone.

Fitnah will always occur, more so when one strives in the way of Allah.

In this advice to the student of knowledge, the noble Shaykh Bin Baaz (May Allah Have Mercy On Him) sets out guidelines on how one should behave when fitnah comes.

How should a person react to news, and statements.

How a person should deal with his fellow brothers and save himself falling into the fitnah, so much so that it could cause him to fall out from the deen.

The treatise is translated by our brother Abdulilah Lahmami (May Allah Preserve Him)

Had We sent down this Quran on a mountain, you would surely have seen it humbling itself and rending asunder by the fear of Allah. Such are the parables which We put forward to mankind that they may reflect. (Surah Al Hashr- 21)
