Assalaamu alaykum Recently a fire on the island of Madagascar engulfed a whole village and destroyed 400 houses in a poor area. 45 Muslim houses were totally burnt leaving only metal and cement behind. We are initially aiming to urgently raise for a brother…

Update | Madagascar appeal
Alhamdulillah numerous brothers and sisters within and outside the UK donated towards the Madagascar appeal.
May Allah reward everyone.
Total amount raised was £12,390.22, more than double the initial target.
The last part of the money was sent yesterday as donations continued to come in over the weeks.
The appeal has now ended. And the brother made regular dua in our communication that Allah rewards and makes firm those who donated upon his religion and that Allah grants them firdaws.
With the amount the brother will rebuild his house (awaiting for government approval) and we distributed food to those in need and will help a sister and her two children who lost her husband after the fire.
We ensured 100% of your donations reached those you intended.
May Allah reward you all and make your affairs easy in your times of need.
