One of the most strange things we can find in the Italian language is surely the ways to say "I love you"
In many European languages the word "I love you" is used to refering to friends and sweethearts
Eng: I love you
Esp: Te amo
Fra: Je t'aime
Rum: Te iubesc
Rus: ั ัะตะฑั ะปัะฑะปั
Por: amo vocรช, eu te amo
In Italian (fortunately for who hate the friendzone๐) we have two ways separated to say the love for a friend and for a beloved
Ti amo: for a beloved, like girlfriend, wife, boyfriend, husband, or simply when a person loves, in the sense of love, someone.
Ti voglio bene: this is used for friends.
