Job Purpose Summary: Provides financial analysis, investment research and
transactional support, to support deal
management and overall portfolio development, including significant focus on financial modelling / analysis and thesis
development for potential new and existing investments as well as supporting on-going performance reporting, monitoring,
servicer engagement, transaction execution and fundraising. Geographical areas of focus for this role will be a hybrid of
India and Europe.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Investment Analysis and Transactional Support
 Build financial models to assess the value and evaluate risk of potential investments, including three-
statement models, statistical modelling, free cash flow analysis and credit risk analysis in various asset
classes (primarily real estate backed debt and equity, structured credit, loan portfolios, corporate credit and
equity) across various industries (primarily real estate, financial services and manufacturing / industrial
businesses)
 Conduct specific investment related and wider market research
 Participate in financial/ collateral and servicing/ operating partner due diligence
 Support preparation of documents for internal and external committees
 Provide wider transactional support, including procurement of leverage, co-investment and overall
structuring and execution
 Assist in fundraising efforts
Asset Management
 Support the monitoring and analysis of ongoing asset and servicer/ operating partner performance of
portfolio investments, including adherence to forecasts and key covenants tests where applicable to help
optimise overall investment performance and manage risks
 Support maintenance and on-going development of models used to review / analyse performance, refine
key assumptions, re-forecast cash flows and update valuations
 Support development of systems, including internal dashboards and reports, to ensure comprehensive and
dynamic reporting
 Assist in the preparation of internal asset management and investor reports
Qualifications and Experience:
 University graduate in an analytical / mathematically / computer science related subject with a minimum of a 2:1
pass
 Minimum 3 years financial analysis experience/training in a financial institution in a highly analytical role
 Experience in private equity / illiquid credit investing, corporate and/or structured finance
 Applied knowledge / experience building bespoke financial models related to direct real estate or real estate
backed finance
 Applied knowledge of real estate market and/ or investment research
 Strong Excel capabilities
 Strong Word and Power Point skills
 English and additional European language(s) a plus
 CFA candidacy preferred
Personal Skills:
 Analytical, methodical and highly numerate
 Strong, clear and precise verbal and written communication skills
 Self-driven, quality and results-oriented with an ability to work well under pressure
 Ability to work individually as well as part of a team
 Reliable, determined, hard-working and ambitious

*Job Description*

· Preparing and maintaining company specific financial models by capturing financial information such as income statement, segment information, balance sheet, cashflows, ratios, off balance sheet/other items, guidance, capital structure, liquidity, etc. from various company reports such as company reports, management presentations, regulatory filings, etc.
· Monitoring periodic results and drafting commentaries covering both financial and non-financial performance during the quarter.
· Attending investor’s conference calls and fund manager’s calls on a need basis.
· Identify and capture sector specific metrics by understanding the business model and developing sector specific understanding for effective analysis.
· Helping onshore analysts in drafting credit notes for new issues by developing financial models, sourcing various credit reports from external rating agencies, ESG reports, comparative bond valuation (FIWs from Bloomberg), looking at investment roadshows and bond prospectus.
· Maintaining ESG scorecards and work on ESG themed bond assessments.
· Manage deliverables with a focus on accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of data.
· Suggest potential improvements in the model and internal system on a regular basis.
· Work on ad-hoc credit mandates which may include both quantitative and qualitative assessment on companies as required by the stakeholder.

*Key Competencies/Skills:*

· Fresh MBA pass out/CFA Level 1 with strong operational delivery
· Excellent knowledge of financial statements and ratio analysis
· Interest in global sustainability issues
· Experience in corporate credit rating/research is desirable. Proven numerical skills, analytical curiosity and rigorous attention to detail
· Good communication skills
