📍 Location: Damascus, Syria (Hybrid / On-site / Remote)
💼 Employment Type: Full-time (8 hours/day, 5 days/week)
📋 Job Description
* Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
* Develop scalable, secure, and high-performance microservices following industry best practices.
* Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA Engineers, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
* Integrate with third-party systems, databases, and external APIs while ensuring reliability and performance.
* Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following coding standards.
* Participate in code reviews, debugging, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.
* Support unit testing, integration testing, deployment activities, and production issue resolution.
🎯 Qualifications
* Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or a related field.
* Experience: 2+ years of hands-on experience in Java and Spring Boot development.
* Core Skills: Strong knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, Spring Security, and RESTful API development.
* Databases: Relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle), SQL, and database design.
* Version Control: Proficiency with Git and collaborative development workflows.
* DevOps & Cloud:
* Docker, Kubernetes, and kubectl commands for deploying, troubleshooting, and monitoring containerized applications.
* Familiarity with Microsoft Azure services, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure DevOps, and CI/CD pipelines.
* Architecture & Messaging: Basic understanding of microservices architecture and messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ is a plus).
* Testing: Experience with unit testing frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
* Soft Skills: Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills, with excellent verbal and written English communication skills for international team collaboration.
