🔹 JOB DETAILS
* Position: Computer Vision & VLM/OCR AI Engineer
* Experience: 3-5 Years (Mid-Senior Level)
* Type: Full-time
* Location: Aleppo, Syria or Remote
🔹 WHAT YOU'LL DO
* Collect, label, and augment field images using annotation tools such as CVAT and Label Studio.
* Train and fine-tune YOLO models for object detection and presence verification, targeting mAP greater than 85%.
* Develop image processing pipelines with OpenCV for color-based classification and geometric measurement.
* Train anomaly detection models to identify surface defects including cracks, gaps, and corrosion.
* Design VLM-based pipelines that compare field images against approved references and generate structured compliance reports.
* Build OCR pipelines for specialized displays, including preprocessing, text extraction, and value validation.
🔹 REQUIREMENTS
* 3-5 years of proficiency in Python with hands-on experience in OpenCV, NumPy, and PyTorch or TensorFlow.
* Familiarity with YOLO architectures and training workflows.
* Solid understanding of CNN architectures.
* Experience with data labeling tools such as CVAT and Label Studio.
* Knowledge of color spaces and edge detection algorithms.
* Understanding of VLM architectures and prompt engineering.
* Familiarity with OCR frameworks such as EasyOCR, TrOCR, or Tesseract.
🔹 NICE TO HAVE
* Experience fine-tuning multimodal models.
* Heatmap generation and visual reporting.
* Arabic language processing for bilingual outputs.
* Experience with anomaly detection frameworks such as Anomalib.
