(Siem Bouk, Stung Treng): On the morning of October 7, 2026, in Stung Treng Province, Her Excellency SOMETH Somnea, Undersecretary of State of the Ministry of Commerce and Head of the Secretariat of the Export Promotion Task Force, led a delegation to HCST Investment Co., Ltd. to celebrate the company’s first large-scale export of cashew products to Inoue Calcium Corporation in the Japanese market.
This export represents a positive result and a new beginning for the company, as well as for Cambodia’s cashew sector. It particularly demonstrates the capacity to produce quality products that meet the requirements of international markets. Entering the Japanese market also reflects efforts to add value to Cambodian cashew products and expand their reach to more international markets.
The Ministry of Commerce’s Export Promotion Task Force will continue to facilitate and promote market linkages to create greater opportunities for Cambodian products to enter international markets. This achievement represents not only the company’s growth, but also a positive step for Cambodia’s cashew sector in further expanding its market reach, strengthening the reputation of Cambodian cashew products, and increasing the export of high-quality, value-added processed products to international markets.
