(Phnom Penh): On the morning of Friday, 9 October 2026, at the Ministry of Commerce, Mr. Oung Sokhon, Deputy Director General of the Ministry of Commerce, received a courtesy call from the business delegation of Mekong Tay Ninh Co., Ltd.

On that occasion, the Deputy Director General extended a warm welcome to the business delegation and briefed the meeting on key achievements of the Royal Government, including the conclusion of bilateral free trade agreements and the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP).

Furthermore, the Deputy Director General highlighted the new Law on Investment, which provides significant incentives to investors. He also expressed sincere thanks to the representatives of the company for this meaningful meeting and encouraged continued cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce.
In response, the business delegation expressed their deep gratitude to the Ministry of Commerce for warm hosting and the opportunity to meet and discuss in person. They presented their implementation plan and detailed information regarding the "Cambodia-Vietnam Factory Showroom (CVFS)" project to the leadership of the Ministry of Commerce. The showroom will serve as a venue to exhibit and promote Cambodian and Vietnamese products, as well as facilitate business connections among manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, and buyers from both countries. The company plans to establish the showroom at No. 14E0E1E2, Street 217, corner of Street 290, Sangkat Tuol Svay Prey I, Khan Chamkar Mon, Phnom Penh, with the exhibition space allocated as 60% for Vietnamese products and 40% for Cambodian products. (Guangzhou, China): On the afternoon of Monday, 12 October 2026, Mr. Lao Nguoneng, Trade Attaché attached to the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Guangzhou, received a courtesy call from Mr. Andy Lee, Chief Executive Officer of Supernova Think Tank, and his colleagues at the Consulate General of the Kingdom of Cambodia in Guangzhou, Guangdong Province, People's Republic of China.

The discussion focused on trade, investment, and the general situation in Cambodia, specifically company registration procedures, investment applications, and business licensing. The Commercial Attaché provided a preliminary briefing to the Chinese side on company registration procedures, application procedures for Qualified Investment Projects (QIP) to receive Royal Government incentives, as well as Cambodia's general economic, trade, and public security outlook.

CEO Andy Lee informed that he intends to lead a delegation of representatives from more than 20 Chinese companies on a working visit to Cambodia in December 2026 and requested meetings with several Cambodian government institutions, including the Ministry of Commerce, the Council for the Development of Cambodia, and the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sport, to obtain further information regarding Cambodia's general socio-economic situation, legal procedures for business registration, investment, and licensing under the Cambodian legal framework.
