“You do not really understand something unless you can explain it to your grandmother.” ~ Albert Einstein

I found this little video from something Julienne in Australia posted on the whats-app channel. I thought is was a good Easter greeting, "God wrote Himself in"

Happy Easter!

“The Resurrection is the central theme in every Christian sermon reported in the Acts. The Resurrection, and its consequences, were the ‘gospel’ or good news which the Christians brought.” ~ C.S. Lewis

I have being a bit slow and irregular lately with the news. I am adjusting to my new schedule, recovering from a flu, plus I'm not getting any younger, so I hope you will bear with me.

I wrote a short blog post, "Update and news"

And posted an Article of the week from Sarah Bessey, "I am going to live like there is hope"

May God be with you!

“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled." ~ Matthew 5:6

For some reason I enjoyed reading the latest Article from Nadia Bolz-Weber "Birth, Death, and Bureaucracy" - It's just a little piece of every day philosophy, but I thought it was well written.

I don't remember if I told you but our last gift was shared between Indonesia and our team in Ukraine.

I always liked Paul McCartney's song, "A Long and Winding Road" - it's kind of a haunting prayer - a soul searching for meaning and truth. There are a number of versions on YouTube, this one is sung by George Michael.

And there is an article from Sarah Bessey, "Everything, All Of It" I think some of us can relate to her story. When you are getting older and looking back on your life so many memories come flooding in.

Find it at, https://mytiramisu.org/

An Article of the week from Scheerpost, "A Call For Life In The Face Of The Drums Of War".

Usually I post things that are somewhat spiritually feeding. The last article I posted about Cuba was more of a humanitarian plea.

I hope this blog post will help balance the scales. The title is, "A brief summary of the book, “Sacred Pace”.

It was forwarded to me from a brother in Africa. I thought it was a good review for those of us who tend to work in our own strength.

There is also a pretty good sermon from Nadia, "I am in need of help."

A newsletter from Robin in Uganda. She is having a profound impact on the future. It's thrilling when you understand how she is bringing in youth from one of the poorest tribes in the country and helping to turn them into health care workers, educators, pastors, and highly skilled members of society. - A work worthy of support.

Also there is a weekly compilation about the early church on Richard Rohr's site. (Each segment can be read little by little). It is something I am sure many of us can recognize as our foundational ideal. "The Way of the Early Church"

I am sorry news from Mytiramisu have been a bit scattershot lately.

I had a painful dental work done which put me out of commission for a while, and lots of other things have need attention.

But here are two posts... I got news from Dnipro where the bombs are falling. We are always praying for their safety.

Secondly there was an article from Vaneetha I can relate to. She uses samples from the old testament stories showing that the same principles apply today.

Thanks for your patience!

Remember Donavan? - (Donovan Phillips Leitch, Scottish musician and songwriter He emerged on the British folk scene in early 1965)

I came across his song, "The Universal Soldier" on FB recently, so here it is as a Tiramisu post. Tell me if it's not fitting for today!

Secondly... an article from Richard Rohr, "Saint Teresa of Calcutta". For me the convicting part is about not getting involved with politics or taking sides - easier said than done!

I had troubles with my website after an update. The back-end refused to show resources - very frustrating! After 11 emails back and forth with the provider I finally found the error. So now it's working again. TYJ!

Here's a post on "The Future" page I just uploaded, "Get ready for the digital gulag"

Besides that we've been busy with house repairs, health and stuff. Gifts went out to teams in Dnipro and Ecuador this month.

It's been a bit irregular with news from me lately... renovation, health issues, and visits have slowed us down a bit. But we are still kicking and moving forward.

Here's a good testimony from John Lennox, "Reason, Science & The Ultimate Truth"

This month gifts went to the team in Dnipro and for John's work with Sudanese refugees.

I wrote a something about letting go and called it, "Take the Spoiling of Your Goods Cheerfully"

Then I added a link to a short Article by Richard Rohr, "Praying with Creation" this one can perhaps serve as a somewhat of an addition to the above-mentioned blog post.

What do you think?

You might have heard of the series "Chosen", but in case you haven't I can tell you what I thought about it.

It's set in the historical context of the times of Jesus' ministry, and tell the stories from a somewhat different perspective... The reaction of the disciples, how human they were, or could have been, and the different characters surrounding the events, the Pharisees, the Romans, the bystanders etc.

There are currently 5-6 seasons, and it can be lengthy at times, but I have found some of the episodes quite relatable and moving.

It might not be to everybody's liking but you can watch it for free at their website here, https://watch.thechosen.tv/season-1

This time, after a long time, there is a Nightlight video class with John Patrick, "How Jesus Claimed Divinity!"
