On January 23, 2024, Mr. KIM San, Vice-President of the National Commercial Arbitration Centre (NCAC), and Ms. MATH Fanita, Secretary General of NCAC, were invited to speak at a Workshop on “Commercial Dispute Resolution & Business Debt Management Strategies” organized by the Siem Reap – Oddar Meanchey Chamber of Commerce (SROCC) and ARISE Plus Cambodia (GIZ) at Sokhalay Angkor Residence, Seimreap Province.
The workshop presided by Oknha Dr. HUY Pheav, President of the Siem Reap-Oddar Meanchey Chamber of Commerce (SROCC), alongside with Ms. KE Kamrang, Advisor on Trade-Related Coordination and Transparency, Arise Plus Cambodia (GIZ).
The insightful workshop consisted of presentations on various aspects of commercial disputes, featuring topics such as the Introduction to Commercial Disputes, Causes & Innovative Resolution Approaches, and Effective Business Agreements, presented by Mr. Kim San, Vice-President of NCAC. Moreover, Ms. Math Fanita shared detailed insights on “The National Commercial Arbitration Centre (NCAC) and our Services in Commercial Dispute Resolutions-Arbitration and Mediation.”
The workshop expanded its focus to include presentations highlighting the essential role of a business financial plan in driving the growth of SMEs presented by H.E TAN Monivann, Vice President of Cambodia Chamber of Commerce (CCC).
The workshop concluded with an engaging panel discussion and Q&A session offering attendees a wealth of insights and practical knowledge to navigate the complex landscape of commercial dispute resolution and business debt management.
This event served as a valuable platform for industry leaders and professionals to exchange insights, enhance their understanding of commercial dispute resolution, and gain practical strategies for effective business debt management."
