On 04 March 2026, the National Commercial Arbitration Centre (NCAC), under the presidency of Mr. HIB Nareth West, President of NCAC, together with members of the NCAC Executive Board including Mr. Jay Bryan Cohen, Ms. MATH Fanita, Secretary-General of NCAC, and the Secretariat team of NCAC, warmly welcomed a courtesy visit and held a discussion with representatives of UNIDROIT. represented by Professor Ignacio TIRADO, Secretary-General of UNIDROIT; Professor Meiling HUANG, Principal Legal Officer and Co-Director of the UNIDROIT Asian Transnational Law Centre from Rome, Italy, Dr. SAO Sochata, Deputy Director of the English-Based Master of Laws Program (ELBML) at the Royal University of Law and Economics and members of the ELBML team.
During the meeting, Mr. HIB Nareth West, President of NCAC, expressed his appreciation for the meeting between NCAC and UNIDROIT and highlighted the intention to strengthen cooperation through the exchange of experience and knowledge between NCAC and UNIDROIT in the future. In addition, Ms. MATH Fanita, Secretary-General of NCAC, delivered a presentation on the background of the establishment of NCAC, its development, and its resolving commercial disputes through arbitration and mediation in Cambodia.
For his part, Professor Ignacio TIRADO, Secretary-General of UNIDROIT, expressed his interest in strengthening cooperation with NCAC by inviting NCAC representatives to participate in various UNIDROIT activities, including seminars and training programs. Furthermore, both parties expressed their mutual intention to explore the possibility of establishing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in the future.

On 05 March 2026, Arbitrator HIB Nareth West, President of the National Commercial Arbitration Centre (NCAC), was invited as an honorable panelist at a conference under the theme “Modernizing Private Law for the Digital Economy: East Asia–Europe Comparative Perspectives and Cambodian Practice.” The conference was organized by the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) from Rome, Italy, in collaboration with the Royal University of Law and Economics (RULE), and was held at Hall G of RULE.
The conference brought together distinguished experts, scholars, and legal practitioners from various countries to exchange experiences and perspectives on the development and modernization of private law in the context of the digital economy. Furthermore, the conference aimed to promote dialogue on the modernization of private law, facilitate the exchange of comparative legal perspectives between East Asia and Europe, and share Cambodia’s experiences in developing and adapting legal frameworks to support digital commerce and cross-border transactions.
On this occasion, Mr. HIB Nareth West shared his insights on commercial arbitration and commercial dispute resolution in Cambodia, highlighting the important role of arbitration in promoting efficient and reliable mechanisms for resolving commercial disputes in accordance with international standards.

នៅថ្ងៃទី ១៨ ខែមីនា ឆ្នាំ ២០២៦ មជ្ឈមណ្ឌលជាតិមជ្ឈកម្មពាណិជ្ជកម្ម (ម.ជ.ម.) ក្រោមអធិបតីដ៏ខ្ពង់ខ្ពស់របស់ លោក ហ៊ឹុប ណារិទ្ធិ វេស៍ ប្រធាន ម.ជ.ម. កញ្ញា ម៉ាត់ ហ្វានីតា អគ្គលេខាធិការ ម.ជ.ម. និងក្រុមការងារអគ្គលេខាធិការដ្ឋាន ម.ជ.ម. បានស្វាគមន៍យ៉ាងកក់ក្តៅចំពោះការធ្វើទស្សនកិច្ច និងកិច្ចពិភាក្សាជាមួយតំណាងពីក្រុមហ៊ុនមេធាវីអធិប ដឹកនាំដោយ លោក Charles AMAR ដៃគូសហការ នៃ ក្រុមហ៊ុនមេធាវីអធិប។ កិច្ចប្រជុំនេះបានប្រព្រឹត្តទៅដោយក្តីសោមនស្សរីករាយ និងការស្វាគមន៍យ៉ាងកក់ក្តៅ។
ក្នុងអំឡុងពេលកិច្ចពិភាក្សា លោក ហ៊ឹប ណារិទ្ធិ វេស៍ ប្រធាន ម.ជ.ម. បានបង្ហាញពីចំណាប់អារម្មណ៍ចំពោះកិច្ចសហការដែលកំពុងបន្តរវាង ម.ជ.ម. និង ក្រុមហ៊ុនមេធាវីអធិប ព្រមទាំងបានលើកឡើងពីគោលបំណងក្នុងការពង្រឹងកិច្ចសហប្រតិបត្តិការ តាមរយៈការផ្លាស់ប្តូរបទពិសោធន៍រវាង ម.ជ.ម. និង ក្រុមហ៊ុនមេធាវី អធិប នាពេលអនាគត។ បន្ថែមពីនេះ កញ្ញា ម៉ាត់ ហ្វានីតា អគ្គលេខាធិការ ម.ជ.ម. ក៏បានធ្វើបទបង្ហាញអំពីសាវតានៃការបង្កើត ម.ជ.ម. វឌ្ឍនភាព និងការរួមចំណែករបស់ ម.ជ.ម. ក្នុងការដោះស្រាយវិវាទពាណិជ្ជកម្មតាមរយៈយន្តការមជ្ឈត្តកម្ម និងសន្ធានកម្មនៅកម្ពុជា។

On 18 March 2026, the National Commercial Arbitration Centre (NCAC), under the leadership of Mr. HIB Nareth West, President of NCAC, Ms. MATH Fanita, Secretary-General of NCAC, and the NCAC General Secretariat team, warmly welcomed a site visit and discussion with representatives from Athipa Law Firm, led by Mr. Charles AMAR, Partner of Athipa Law Firm.
