Hi all as you may all know by now our party's application for the Fed Elections was held up until the expiry of the registration period. Instead we will be fielding Independents.
If you want to know more about how the AEC are using tactics to ensure very few legitimate minor parties get registered, Cam Tinley will be doing a sharing on Sun Apr 10 between 3 to5pm at the Pt Walter Reserve near the jetty. Bring a chair. It's an event organised by a non partisan group. Cam has been invited to speak. Hope to see you there. If you want to stay on for the social bring a plate to share.
Down at South beach grassed area to get signatures.
Hi everyone. SUPER URGENT!! If you want to support Cam Tinley's bid to run as an independent candidate for the Senate in the upcoming elections please help out by filling out your name (as it appears on the Electoral Roll) include middle names if any or it doesn't get accepted.and all the other details. The candidate is Patricia AYRES and she is Cam's running mate which allows them a position higher up in the Ballot paper as Independents. Please send your completed nomination to Cam Tinley at email camtinley@bigpond.com the deadline is tonight. Sorry for the short notice.
Hi all deadline extended to Thurs. The form is above my message just click on the form and share it to your own email address.
We still want more signatures as a precaution. We want to be sure we get them in.
Thank you to those who supported Cam and Trish. They are running as Independents. Yayy...we do need donations though. So if you can please donate. ...the following is Cam's latest FB post.
Just got a call from the Australian Electoral Commission.

We are going to be on the Ballot Paper as Grouped Independents Tinley/Ayre and will find out on Friday 22nd April at mid-day exactly where on the Ballot Paper we will be.

We could be anywhere from first (Letter A) to last (possibly letter Z).

Now we can talk to other parties about preferences.

We will be producing a printable HTV (How to Vote) card, with recommendations.

The majors will not be on the HTV card at all. It will be a matter of deciding on the order of the minor parties and other Independents. We will probably recommend 15 parties in total (including Independents).

If you can spare the time its a good thing to help reduce corruption
This is a recent FB post from Cam. In case you think these are allies. They are not.

"The UAP is the second party to say that we will be getting Preferences from them only to find that they produce a How To Vote card that does not include us.

This follows Pauline Hansoinn's One Nation doing exactly the same thing.

It is one thing not to do a deal with a party., it is another thing to do a deal with a party and then find that they have backed out of that deal without any communication.

Sometimes deals do have to change, but what you need to do is communicate those changes so that parties can make other arrangements.

We gave preferences to UAP and One Nation and a big part of the thinking behind that was the expectation that we would receive preferences from them.

IMOP have not included us on their HTV card either. The Federation Party have not produced a How to Vote Card yet despite the fact that voting started days ago.

There is no restriction on the number of parties that can be on a HTV (How To Vote) card. By placing someone on your card does not mean you have to take someone off. You can include as many parties as you want.

We have included 17 minor parties and zero major parties on our How to Vote card.

There is a hidden hand working behind the scenes. All will be exposed and revealed soon enough.
Thanks to all of the people who made donations. We needed the money desperately.

The election was conducted by the Australian Electoral Commission exactly as I expected it to be handled.

If you anyone is given a job with no training you cannot expect them to do the job properly.

When I was at the Electoral Commission in Perth getting the registration done for being an Independent I saw a man come into the office and ask for a job on Election Day.

The AEC staff member told him that he could not only work on Election Day but be could be in charge of a Polling Station.

The gentleman said he didn't want to be in charge of anything, he just wanted to be a worker. When the AEC staffer told him to consider being in charge he then got cold feet and headed for the door. He now didn't want to work at all.

The staffer then rushed out of the office to stop him getting into the lift to beg him to work in any capacity he wanted.

I knew then that there were going to be problems.

On the day, Electoral Officials were instructing people to vote 1 to 6 Above the Line. They should not have done this. They were interfering with the voting process. by giving this recommendation.

You can vote 1 only, or 1 to 21 Above the Line. As long as you haven't used a number more than once it is a valid vote.

Voting 1 to 6 is completely arbitrary. People will however listen to advice given to them by an AEC official.

We recommended that people vote 1 to 17. The AEC by giving the advice they did created confusion in the minds of voters.

There is a lot to digest from this election.

We gave preferences to ALL so called Freedom Parties and received preferences from NO Freedom Party apart from Australian Christians.

People have been attacking Australian Christians by saying that they are not a real Freedom Party. The fact is that Australian Christians have always given us their Preferences while other self-described "Freedom Parties" have no track record at all for giving out preferences that indicate that they support Freedom Parties.

It is one thing talking the talk but the preferences are what counts. Many absolute enemies of Freedom have been elected to parliament on the backs of preferences given to them by so-called members of the Freedom Movement.

Now that the election is over we will continue to seek Federal Registration. Our application has been in the works since January and my guess is that the Electoral Commission will continue to stall the process in the hope that we will lose interest.

One positive from the election is that the totally incompetent Minister in charge of Electoral Affairs, Ben Morton, lost the unloseable seat of Tangney.

We will now be dealing with a new Minister and we will wait to see who that might be.

Thanks to all the people who voted Group P. It was very confusing but at least we were in the game to the fullest extent possible.

Our website was interfered will just prior to the election just as it was before the last State Election and a whole lot of automated random messages we sent out.

Thanks again and we will be back on the horse straight away.

Kind regards

Cam
