Nazarbayev University ACM Student Chapter - is the branch of the largest international organization of computer technology, computer science, and engineering, which aim to develop and promote the technical potential of the students of our university.
This year we are planning a lot of events and activities, so we welcome everyone who are willing to contribute to our community!
For this recruitment, we are offering technical positions (SIG teams and designers).
FYI: ACM's SIGs - Special Interest Groups - are the communities that develop together in special technical areas like competitive programming, mobile dev, web, AI and etc. SIG Team is a group of people who will help us to establish and maintain the SIG. You are not expected to be experienced at management or have special knowledge in the sphere. SIGs aim to give you the opportunity for growth.

NU ACM SC and IEEE are inviting you to an info session from startup that originated from NU - Abacus Tech Ltd.
Startup applies Computer Vision and Machine Learning for detection of pests in Agriculture. To date, startup has attracted $100 000 in investments, been showcased in Google office in Tel-Aviv, hardware startup accelerator in Hong Kong, and Dubai Expo Live 2019 in Dubai.
Startup was founded by a 3rd year student from School of Engineering - Sovetov Miras. He will briefly inform the audience on what startup is doing, what are its objectives at the moment, and what are further plans.
Currently, team is looking for students for paid part-time work in following positions:
1. Computer Vision Engineer
2. Python developer
3. Mechatronics Engineer
There is no requirement on school, year of study, or degree. Main criteria will be willingness to work and prior work experience. Salary for each position will be negotiated individually, but will start from 80k/month for a part-time work.

- Первые 30-40 минут будем рассказывать про спортивное программирование и чем будем заниматься в этом семестре.
- Далее, для всех желающих будет контест с длительностью в 1.5-2 часа. Контест распределит будущих участников SIG на две группы, начинающих и опытных.
- Возможно будет разбор задач (если успеем и людям будет интересно).
Если планируете участвовать на контесте, не забудьте принести с собой ноутбук.
