πŸ’— Can you love someone deeply… without clinging to them?

Romantic relationships can bring out some of our best qualities, and also some of our messiest ones πŸ‘€

We’re especially excited for this session because it’s a new panel-style concept we’re trying at NUSBS ✨

Join us for a candid conversation with two practising Buddhist couples as they talk about love, attachment, intimacy, values, conflict, growth, and what Buddhist practice actually looks like inside a real relationship.

Expect less β€œperfect relationship advice” and more honest sharing about how two people can care for each other without turning love into control, insecurity, or losing themselves along the way 🌿

There’ll also be a Q&A, so bring the questions you’ve always wanted to ask. We’re very curious to see where the conversation goes too πŸ˜πŸ’š

🌿 Thank you to everyone who joined us today! πŸ’—

This session, we explored how Buddhist teachings can guide us in romantic relationships through a heartfelt discussion with two practising Buddhist couples. πŸ’š

Our speakers shared how relationships can be an opportunity for personal growth, where both partners support each other while staying true to their values and Buddhist practice.

May we continue to cultivate love rooted in compassion, wisdom, and understanding, and grow together on the path of the Dhamma! πŸƒ

A big thank you to our speakers for sharing their experiences and to everyone who came down for the discussion! πŸ’š

😬 You know that moment when you say something… and immediately wish you could rewind 5 seconds?

Maybe you said the wrong thing. Maybe nobody knew what to say. Maybe the silence just kept getting louder πŸ’€

Come explore how mindfulness and Buddhist perspectives might help us handle awkwardness with more ease, humour and kindness towards ourselves and others 🌿

Join Brother Thomas for a session on those painfully human moments and how we might meet them with a little less panic, self-consciousness and overthinking.

Expect relatable stories, practical reflections, and probably a few moments of β€œwait… everyone does this too?” πŸ‘€πŸŒΏ
