Hello Dharma friends,

For the next few guest speaker sessions starting from this Tuesday, do note that there are some guidelines we should follow. Please sit and dress appropriately as it is very important to show respect to the speakers and the Buddha statue.

And what we meant by dressing appropriately means:
- No skirts and shorts
- No revealing clothes

And for sitting appropriately:
- No pointing your feet towards the Buddha statue and the speakers

Thanks for reading and see you tmr! :))

In the Vajra Cutter Sutra (้‡‘ๅˆš็ป), Buddha concluded with the famous verse: โ€œAs a star, a visual aberration, a lamp, an illusion, dew, a bubble, a dream, lightning, and a cloudโ€”view all the compounded like that.โ€ Why are we taught to view our changing reality as a star and so forth? What do the similes mean? How do we apply this teaching in our daily life?

In this talk, Khen Rinpoche Geshe Chonyi, an esteemed scholar and practitioner, will share on the main subject matter of the Vajra Cutter Sutra and elaborate on this verse. He will also lead participants through a short meditation on the verse and respond to questions.
