The photos captured the moments, but now itβs time to relive how the KMSPKS Retreat truly felt πΏπ₯
From meaningful Dhamma reflections and quiet moments of mindfulness to shared meals, late-night conversations, laughter, and new friendships, these two days gave us a chance to slow down and reconnect with ourselves and one another.
What made the retreat special was not only the programme, but every person who showed up with an open heart and helped create such a warm and welcoming space. Whether you came with friends or arrived not knowing anyone, we hope you left with meaningful memories, fresh perspectives, and a community that feels a little more like home π€
A heartfelt thank you to KMSPKS, our speakers, facilitators, volunteers, organising team, and every participant who made this retreat possible.
Hereβs to the moments that could not fit into a single photo and the memories we will continue carrying with us long after the retreat π±

πΏWhat does it actually mean to be a Buddhist? πΏ
For many of us, Buddhism may first bring to mind temples, chanting, rituals or simply a label we grew up with. But beyond these outward forms, what does it really mean to practise the Buddhaβs teachings in everyday life?
Join Sister Sylvia Bay as we explore Buddhism beyond labels and towards sincere practice, which the meaning of taking refuge in the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha, the Five Precepts, and how right understanding, ethical conduct and mental development can shape the way we live.
