πŸͺ³ Would you kill the cockroach? Tell the white lie? Take the drink? 🍷

Real life has a funny way of turning β€œsimple” values into very grey situations.

Join us for a discussion with Ven. Chun Hui as we unpack everyday dilemmas, question our instincts, and explore what it means to make choices with greater awareness and care 🌿

Hi everyone! Session is tonight~ see you all there

🌿 Thank you for joining us today!

Today's takeaway is about intention. When we act with the intention to harm, we cause suffering to others while also cultivating unwholesome states within ourselves. If we help others we will help ourselves too.

The Five Precepts are not simply rules telling us what not to do. They encourage us to examine the intentions behind our actions. May our intentions be rooted in kindness, compassion, and wisdom, and act through our daily lives for the sake of all beings. πŸƒ

Thank you to everyone who came down and stayed for the discussion! πŸ’š

🌿 CIP @ Little Bodhi Student Care Centre

A big thank you to everyone who volunteered and made our Children’s Day CIP a meaningful one!

We managed the game booths and accompanied the children as they enjoyed mini games such as dropping sticks and mini golf. We hope the children had as much fun playing as we did spending time with them!

Sometimes, even the smallest acts of kindness can brighten someone’s day. 🌱

Thank you to all our volunteers for dedicating your time, keeping the programme running smoothly! May we continue to find happiness in giving and creating meaningful moments for others. πŸƒ

πŸ™ˆ β€œSorry, I’m not free.”
Easy to type. Somehow harder to actually send 😭

Between wanting to be there for people, not wanting to disappoint anyone, and wondering if saying no makes us a β€œbad friend,” boundaries can get messy fast.

This session is for anyone who’s ever agreed to something while already mentally exhausted πŸ‘€ We’ll be exploring how to show up for others without abandoning ourselves in the process, and what healthier friendship can look like when it’s built on honesty rather than obligation.

🌿 Thank you to everyone who joined us today!

This session, we explored spiritual friendship (Kalyāṇa Mittatā). πŸ’š Being a good friend doesn’t mean always saying yes, and learning to say no with kindness is also part of setting healthy boundaries.

Spiritual friendship is not just about finding good companions, but also about becoming one ourselves. By cultivating faith, virtue, generosity and wisdom, we can attract and surround ourselves with good companions who inspire us to grow in the Dhamma. 🌱

May we continue to nurture wholesome friendships and become the kind of spiritual friends we hope to find! πŸƒ

🌿 Brain got 37 tabs open? Come close a few.

If meditation has ever felt like β€œsit still and somehow think about nothing,” this session might change your mind πŸ‘€
Bro Loh Wei will be guiding us through a practical meditation session drawing from both Buddhist practice and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), with different techniques you can actually experiment with and bring into everyday life.
No need to be good at meditating. No need to have a β€œpeaceful mind.” Just come curious, try something new, and see what clicks for you πŸƒ
