Hey everyone!
This Friday, we will be starting our Dhamma Talk Series โThe Four Noble Truthsโ.
The first session starts with โDukkha: The Truth of Sufferingโ,which explores what Suffering is about. It is possible for one to be physically unwell and be free from suffering.
Often, the notion of Suffering can seem pessimistic and unpopular. However, the core of the 4 Noble Truths, is in fact the pursuit of happiness, complete and everlasting.
We have invited Venerable Shi Chuan Guan to lead us in this series. Ven. CG was ordained in Fa Yun Monastery(USA) under Master Miu King. He practised meditation under the Mahayana Tradition, while studying the Pali Canon.
The session will take place on 31st January, Friday, from 1800. It will be located at University Sports Centre, Conference Room. Vegetarian dinner will be provided.
Finally, given the ongoing Novel Coronavirus, we wish that all will be well, happy and peaceful. Stay safe and may you be free from suffering.

Hey everyone!
Here are the notes, that have been compiled in relation to last Fridayโs Dhamma Talk! We hope that you can benefit from these set of notes. It covers the life story of the Buddha, his motivation towards cultivating, the knowledge which he attained as well as the different manifestations of Dukkha.
May all cultivate with diligence and discipline, and in doing so, may concentration and peace arise. Abiding in peace, may all attain wisdom necessary for final liberation.

Hi Everyone!
This is a notice regarding the recent developments amidst the Novel Coronavirus, especially since the MOH has raised the Disease Outbreak Response System Condition to Orange last Friday.
As per the advisory notice, groups with sizes above 50 will cease activities on school campus, however, as our activities are expected to happen in smaller groups, we will proceed onwards with our activities.
However, please note that if you are feeling unwell, please do not attend the events, instead, visit a doctor!
We will also be collecting your personal particulars, including your name, contact number and your body temperature. This is to facilitate contact tracing, should there be an outbreak happening in school.

Today's meditation session will be held in USC Conference Room! See you there!
Hey everyone!
This week, we shall continue with the next talk in the 4 Noble Truths Series.
In the previous sessions, we have identified the unsatisfactory nature of life. We have also further understood that though this word is strong, Suffering is truly a part of how we experience life. Weโve also explored that, given that the removal of which, or alleviation of which, is the goal of Buddhism and cultivation.
In this upcoming session, โSamudayaโ, we will further analyse this Suffering or unsatisfactory nature. This is to better understand the cause of Suffering. After all, if there were a cause to Suffering, when it is removed, Suffering will cease.
Finally, do note that with the ongoing novel Coronavirus, COVID-19, we have decided to stop providing dinner at the event. As a result, the session will start from 1830 onwards! Do grab your dinner before joining us for the talk!
We hope to see you tomorrow! Finally, may you all be well, healthy and happy! Strive on!
