Delhi Police has denied permission for the October 10 protest at Jantar Mantar:
• Insufficient advance notice — protests require at least 10 days’ prior permission.
• Previous alleged violations of protest conditions and undertakings.
• Public safety, traffic and law-and-order concerns.
• Section 163 of the BNSS remains in force in parts of New Delhi, and violations may invite legal action.
Police guidelines also cap Jantar Mantar gatherings at 1,000 people.
