The Indian Air Force has provided the following information regarding AFCAT 02/2026 through an RTI reply.
📌 1. Total Candidates Registered
- 👨 Male: 82,364
- 👩 Female: 35,174
- Total: 1,17,538
📌 2. Total Candidates Appeared
- 👨 Male: 66,202
- 👩 Female: 27,587
- Total: 93,789
Last Time 80k appeared and this time 93k
So this was also one of reason for increased cut off
📌 3. Candidates Shortlisted for AFSB/SSB Testing
🔹 Non-Technical Branches: 12,261 candidates
🔹 Technical Branches:
AE (L) – Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics)

So Congratulations yaar whoever cleared the Written!
And Jiska nhi hua clear so koi baat nhi... This is a part of life...ups and downs chalte rhte hai Baitho ache se dekho kaha kami rhi hai...konse weak areas rhgye jinpe work krna hai.....koi sad hoke ya depressed hoke mat baith jana...Ache se dobara mehnat kro ek din sab hoga acha and tumhara roll no bhi pdf me aayega...So just dekho kaha kya kami hai and work on that
Also If u want i will take a session for your written strategy
And to those who have cleared
again very very congratulations yaaro
But this is only first stage
So jyada excited mat hona... Just enjoy the day
And ssb ki preparation me lag jao
Girls ke liye yaar literally we can feel what it is what is Now Clearing Cds is a big thing for Girls
Because cut off is too much
Obviously seats are less and competition is too much But Yeah With Proper hardwork of 3-4 works you can score Good and can clear it
So so jitni bhi girls hai group me and nhi hua plz abhi se next attempt ki krdo start prep
Target atleast 120 Marks
Mehant bahot krti but at the end 360 ka hi hota clear so you will have to perform exceptionally good
Kuch guidance help chahiye me and our channel is always there
We will soon share a started for cds(1) 2027 for those who didn't make it!
Ya ota hogya ima/afa na hua
Again a very big congratulations to each and everyone who have cleared this
Kuch repeaters ke liye nhi h big deal paper clear Krna
But yaar still appreciate yourself and do enjoy these small moments

Ota(M) - 84-85
OTA(W)- Around 108-110
Ina- 106-108
