🌱 ROOTED IN PEACE 🌿

Peace grows the way gardens do: one seed, one pair of hands, one season at a time. 🤲

The Rotary Fellowship of Urban Gardening and Green Rotaract Concept Ethiopia invite families to swap seeds, plant together and take a little green promise home. 🌻

Swap a seed. Plant a promise. Grow a peaceful Ethiopia.

🎟️ Free entry. Let's also plant a seed of generosity for our wonderful Rotary Foundation. 💚
🤝 Thank you to our wonderful development and peace partners for helping peace take root in our schools and communities.

✨ THE TROPHIES ARE UNVEILED ✨
Fourteen colours. One peace.

Tonight we lift the veil on the Selamawi Honours Trophy: one form for all fourteen honours, each lacquered in its own colour. Sunrise orange for the young peacemakers. Rose for the women who lead peace. Dove ivory for the bridge builders. Gold for a lifetime given to peace and service.

Each stands 30 cm tall on a walnut base, carries a gold-leaf olive branch, and is engraved on the back with our partners: UNFPA, Timret Lehiwot Ethiopia and the Life & Peace Institute.

On Sunday 15 November, fourteen peacebuilders will carry one home from the Addis Ababa Riverside. Will someone you know be among them?

Meet all fourteen trophies 👉 https://selamawiawards.org/unveiled-the-selamawi-honours-trophy/
