⚠️ A BLE update has been rolled out for Ninebot ESx scooters. This new update encrypts the BLE communications and prevents third party apps from being used and custom firmware from being uploaded.
If the app asks you to update, click the "Later" button. If you accidentally launched the update, turn off your scooter immediately to cancel it. (this will do no harm as updates are first wrote into a buffer)

WARNING! As predicted, Xiaomi-Ninebot have started pushing obscure updates to the DRV in order to prevent people from gaining access to the vehicle's development interface.
Starting from March 23, all Ninebot patchers will have "version spoofing" enabled by default in order to prevent the Ninebot app from overwriting your current firmware and
Xiaomi patchers will get a version spoofing patch in the coming days.
In the meantime, please avoid updating your scooters using the official apps.

Introducing the user preset beta for max.cfw.sh, a preset stored in your browser that you can load/save at your convenience.
User presets can also be exported/imported to/from json.
It uses the same format as the newly added params.json inside patcher ZIP files.
You can also load any of these json files as a regular preset.
Enjoy!

Starting from revision prod|030121-1; Xiaomi M365 Pro, Pro 2, 1S and Ninebot Max patchers got a new "tire size" patch, replacing the old "wheel speed constant" which was only used for speed limits and not displayed speed.
Input has also been replaced to diameter (inches).
⚠️ This new patch might affect your currently displayed top speed, but it won't change your real speed. If you want to keep the stock (but incorrect) speed measurement, please compensate for it in the tire size.

A fix has been deployed for API services to recover from their killed state. We are still monitoring reply delays while waiting for a fix from our host.
In order to clarify and improve the making of Xiaomi custom firmware, pro.cfw.sh becomes mi.cfw.sh
Originally meant for the M365 Pro, it allows you to create files for the following models, all from the same webpage:
- Xiaomi M365 with 4 LED dashboard, using the "Regular M365" patch
- Xiaomi M365 with Pro dashboard
- Xiaomi M365 Pro
- Xiaomi Essential/Lite
- Xiaomi 1S
- Xiaomi Pro 2
As all Xiaomi DRV firmware are completely cross-compatible, it made sense using a single toolkit based on the most performant and reliable one.
This also reduces the effort needed to provide support and new patches, as updating a single piece of software effectively provides the update to all the above mentioned platforms.
I strongly encourage users running Pro 2 CFW (or now defunct 1S CFW) to install a new CFW made with the unified tool, as it's known to provide better performances all around. The Pro 2 specific tool will remain up for the time being until I hear feedback about the merger.
Those changes will be reflected onto the ScooterHacking Utility app without any need to update: all built-in Xiaomi custom firmware will soon be generated from this patcher.
Furthermore, to make this patcher suited for every use, patches for brake light modes and frequency have been added. (along with a few others - check full changelog for details)
Developers and advanced users: the 'dev' identifier for files generated from the newly updated toolkit will change from 'pro' to 'mi' in the next few weeks. Please make sure your apps accept it. The api.cfw.sh/pro endpoint will remain for an undetermined amount of time, but I'd suggest switching to api.cfw.sh/mi as soon as possible.
Tanks to everyone for the ever-growing support, and let us know your thoughts and suggestions!
