The Elements Within

The elements are unique and varying, so too are each and every one of us that make up this virtual world of Second Life.
There is beauty in those elements, in us, all of us; regardless if we don't always understand each other.
What we can all understand is that without those variations (elements), this world of our own creation would not be what it is today after over two decades.

Inara Pey : Primfeed: A dedicated social platform for Second Life
https://community.secondlife.com/blogs/entry/15850-inara-pey-primfeed-a-dedicated-social-platform-for-second-life/

"Sharing your Second Life experience via social media can be something of a scattergun effort, utilising different platforms for different activities: Flickr or Deviant Art for photos, for example, Twitter or Bluesky or Discord, etc., for messaging and so on. But what if there was a single platform where these various needs could be met, one which – although independent from Second Life and Linden Lab – had been developed specifically for, and with input from, Second Life users and offered a degree of integration integration with Second Life, with the potential for more in the future?

Well, as of June 20th, 2024, there is: Primfeed. And this is its story so far."

Yep, we know you want it. And guess what? We’ve got it! Behind the scenes, Porta and Beachy have been slaving away to get you all the information about SL21B: Second Life’s 21st Birthday Bash! If you haven’t seen it before, then prepare for some crazy info: We’ve got locations, descriptions and photos of every gift at this MASSIVE shopping event (there are 24 regions to explore!) in our extremely detailed spreadsheet. Plus, if you look along the bottom, you’ll see tabs that have the information sorted in different ways. It’s quite amazing."

SL21B is Open! Celebrate 21 Years of Second Life!
https://community.secondlife.com/blogs/entry/15854-sl21b-is-open-celebrate-21-years-of-second-life/

SL21B is now officially open! Second Life is celebrating its 21st birthday with our biggest celebration ever -- this year we have 77 regions filled with parties, live music, deejay performances, special events, exhibits, gifts, and shopping!

This year we've created a unique experience by connecting all adult regions into a 12-region mini-continent. This includes the adult exhibits, the fire stage, and the adult Shop & Hop regions, all seamlessly integrated for an immersive and cohesive adult-themed area.

Head on over to the SL21B Welcome Area and start your exploration now!

Join us today at 2pm PT to watch Patch Linden's opening speech with everyone live at the SL21B Stonehold - the earth stage!

Here’s the rundown of some highlights from this year’s celebration:

SL21B Live Music Events & Performances

From June 21st to July 1st, go on an interstellar journey through sound and emotions with a variety of music events and spellbinding performances at the SL21B stages. The full schedule of events is available on our blog and the Birthday events calendar.
