SUNDAY, 14 SEPTEMBER:

TOYSOP RECORDS, presents BROLI live in concert.

BROLI is the heaviest outfit on the TOYSOP roster: guitars fuzzed to the max, drums pounding like there’s no tomorrow, and saxophone eruptions spiraling into hysteria. Everything is bathed in distortion and delivered with reckless abandon. Drawing on traditions carved by Mainliner, Les Rallizes Dénudés, and the fire-breathing avant heroes of the ’70s, BROLI promises a night that will be loud, unhinged, and deeply unsettling.

SUNDAY, 14th of SEPTEMBER:

Conversation with a Jewish activist Roman Levin from occupied Palestine about the political and historical situation in Palestine and the structure of the Israeli settler-colonial society.

At the meeting we will discuss:
• Solidarity presence in the West Bank
• How the Israeli apartheid regime escalated into an overt genocide in Gaza
• The history of settler colonialism in Palestine
• Jewish anti-Zionism and conscientious refusal (conscientious objection)
• Systemic and everyday racism toward Arab, Ethiopian, and post-Soviet Jewish immigrant groups
• Post-Soviet waves of immigration to occupied Palestine

Roman Levin is a Jewish anti-Zionist activist involved in solidarity presence initiatives and in documenting attacks and demolitions carried out by settlers and Israeli occupation forces. Roman is actively engaged in developing anti-Zionist discourse among post-Soviet immigrants in occupied Palestine. In 2019, he publicly refused to continue his service in the Israeli army.
