Basic cybersecurity for punks
workshop
In this workshop, you will learn how to reduce risks and protect your gadgets. No nerdy deep-dives! Just the basic cybersecurity information to help you avoid fraud, the leaking of personal data, or having your private messages hacked. This is something everyone should do — like washing your hands after using the toilet.
Anarchism, education and contemporary knowledge
lecture by Maria Rakhmaninova
The lecture explores multidimensional receptions of the anarchist tradition in education through the lens of contemporary scientific and medical knowledge. It examines how modern systems of education emerged from authoritarian paradigms of Euro-modern thought, how their effects manifest as social and individual trauma, and how current diagnostic and therapeutic approaches help address these consequences. The discussion also maps new interdisciplinary routes for rethinking health, learning, and human development in light of trauma theory and anarchist reflections on power.
Self-defence for women*
workshop by Marina Zelenaya
Come to learn several effective self-defense techniques and try them out in practice. But we won't just be waving our arms and legs around! We will discuss the emotional side of defending yourself in critical situations and know how to protect yourself from unwanted actions.
Why do we keep doing horizontalism?..
public talk by members of Secret Place, Freegazine, IT-cooperative, Community Center, Rhythms of Resistance, etc.
«We are a horizontal collective!» has become a meme. And for good reason! The very possibility of building a non-hierarchical project in a world of hierarchies, power dynamics, and inequality raises a lot of questions. It's difficult. It requires resources, involvement, responsibility — and many hours of meetings. So why are there still those who persist in creating and participating in horizontal initiatives? Let’s discuss and find out together!
Cancel Culture of Care
discussion + zin#2 presentation
How does so-called cancel culture work? Although there is research and examples demonstrating the ineffectiveness of this approach in resolving situations involving violence and harm, many continue to cancel people. During this discussion, we want to explore alternatives to this way of handling such cases and present the second issue of our zine

SECRET PLACE x REVOLUTION FESTIVAL — EDUCATION LINE-UP
(11-12 OCTOBER)
Talks, lectures & workshops exploring power, care, and resistance.
From self-defense and trauma theory to horizontalism and cancel culture — join the conversations that matter.
🟢 13:30-14:30 // green stage
Yeah, I’m a man. Any problems?
discussion
In Tbilisi, a group criticizing toxic masculinity has been around for about half a year. Come to this discussion to learn from the group's organizer and participants how it started and why it exists. Also, ask your questions to the men who are okay with being men — even though it can sometimes be problematic.
🟢 14:30-15:30 // green stage
Queer vs LGBT
q&a
What is being queer? Is it about resistance against marginalization and discrimination? Or is it about sex, gender and self-expression? Let's talk about political and private issues of being not part of cis- and/or hetero- normative world. And we could discuss slurs and reappropriation of the language of hate.
🔴 14:45-17:00 // start from the Herbs for Nerds point, 3th floor
Wandering with Herbs for Nerds promenade
Let's take a walk through the festival and its surroundings to look for herbs and flowers, and talk about our love for plants and for them to flourish. During the promenade, you will listen to stories about the healing power that herbalism has of itself.
🟢 15:30-17:00 // green stage
Neurodiversity, queerness & solidarity
the human library by Community Center
Autism is highly comorbid with a lot of different conditions, and rarely is isolated as a singular thing — we are here to have a conversation about neurodiversity and what it is like to build solidarity and mutual aid while embracing and accommodating different (and sometimes contradicting) needs of each other.
🟢 17:00-18:00 // green stage
Cozy STAND UP show
Hilarious humor show with warm atmosphere.
Jokes, irony, sarcasm, sharing and guilty pleasures with no judgment and blame. Personal, candid, sincere stories — comedy that you deserve!
🟣 18:30-19:30 // lecture room
Good relationship circle
workshop
Join our Good Relationships Workshop — a gentle space to explore what makes relationships healthy and fulfilling. You’ll get a brief intro to Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and take part in a group practice where anyone can share a real case, ask questions, and offer reflections in a supportive circle. Everyone’s voice matters 💛
🟣 19:30-21:30 // lecture room
Sides of the (dis)integration in Georgia discussion
This session invites folks of all backgrounds to a dialogue on the state of solidarity among anti-authoritarian leftists in Georgia. Are there barriers experienced by different ethnic/national/other communities to solidarity - and should these be named and collectively addressed? Or should we challenge traditional notions of solidarity in the light of complex historical and present realities? The space we will create together at this event will not put the blame on one group or another, but be a meeting point where we can discuss our personal experiences, concerns, anxieties and questions with one another as we reflect on a persistently difficult question.
🟣 21:30-22:30 // lecture room
Mmm, dump! Dive in friganism
public talk
Trash, landfills, bins, leftovers, and useless junk — oh, how we love them! Come and ask us why we rummage through dumpsters and why it's such a thrill. And while you're at it, find out what the most valuable and the most unexpected things we've found are — and how much money we save on a regular basis.
