This is a difficult, but very important post about our future

For the last six months, the house where Secret Place is located has been up for sale. This has made our existence extremely unstable — all this time we’ve been working in an unpredictable atmosphere, knowing that everything we’ve built over the last four years could disappear at any moment

This uncertainty has heavily affected our collective. The feeling of an inevitable, but unpredictable ending has also taken a toll on our personal lives, because Secret Place has become a home for many of us during these unstable times

On top of that, our financial situation is really tough (winter is coming, and it’s always a hard season for bars and venues). Paying rent has become a struggle every single month

It’s very possible that the next few months might be our last. But we want to keep going as long as we can — to host as many shows and organize as many events as possible. And it seems that we can’t do it without your help

We’re launching what may be our final donation campaign. All the money will go directly toward covering rent for as many months as we can manage. And of course, as soon as we know anything concrete about our future, we will let you know
