We’ll explore how the Holy Roman Empire and the Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth worked, follow Luther and Calvin’s preaching, see the Counter-Reformation’s and Jesuits’ response, and trace Europe’s bloody path toward religious tolerance through the St. Bartholomew’s Day Massacre, the Thirty Years’ War, and the English Revolution.
