WHAT WE DO IS SECRET №19.

Greetings, ladies and gentlemen!

We’re nearing the end of our journey, and this time heading into the “heart” of the 19th century — the era that shaped the world we know today.
After the French Revolution and Napoleonic Wars, Europe tries to restore the old order — but it’s already too late. A self-aware society strains against old boundaries, science and technology open once-fantastical horizons, and rising inequality gives birth to new movements: socialism and nationalism.
We’ll trace the imperial race between France, Britain, and Russia; get swept into the American Civil War; watch the decline of the “dying” Ottoman and Habsburg empires; and witness the birth of Italy and Germany.
See you Thursday — right after your factory shift!
