Action Button Double Press Workaround?

<!-- SC_OFF -->I don’t currently have an iPhone with Action Button, but I’ve heard people on here say you can assign actions or Shortcuts to the Action Button only via single press (not double press, etc.). But I wondered if you could get around that if you set up a Global Variable that starts at 0, then when you activate the shortcut, it adds +1 to the Variable’s value then waits a couple seconds and if you activate the shortcut again, it adds another +1 to the value and waits and after the 2-3 second wait, it performs unique actions based on whether the global value was set to 1, 2, 3, etc based on how many times you activated the shortcut. You could even further contextualize it by having a set of actions that only work if the screen is locked/unlocked for example. Using Apple Maps business location when creating Calendar events with Shortcuts

<!-- SC_OFF -->I’m trying to automatically create Apple Calendar events using Apple Shortcuts when I receive ticket confirmation e-mails with the exact same Maps location that I get when I manually select a business in Calendar. For example, I want an event’s location to be the actual Ziggo Dome business in Amsterdam, not just its street address or a nearby coordinate. The problem When I manually create a Calendar event and select Ziggo Dome as the location, the event gets the business as the location and it appears as such. However, when I create the event through Shortcuts, I’ve tried all three location-related data types:
- Location
- Place
- Maps Link For Location and Maps Link, at least it becomes a map location. But it isn’t the same Maps location as the Shortcut uses as input, or that I get when I manually select it. Broken Shortcut Automation?

<!-- SC_OFF -->I’ve had HomeKit shortcut automations that have worked flawlessly for the last year, however with 27.2, it would appear the shortcuts are no longer working. I’ve got bathroom fans connected to Eve light switches so that the fans can automatically turn off after 50 minutes. However, the switches are not turning off. They continue to run indefinitely until we turn them off through the app or by manually toggling the switch. Testing the switches with a smaller number (Example: 1 repeat of 60 seconds) and it turns off automatically. It’s my understanding that HomeKit automations over a certain amount of time don’t work, hence the 60 seconds and high number of repeats. Am I missing something? I even deleted and recreated these automations but I’m still seeing the same issue. Did 27.2 change the shortcut automation time limits?
