<!-- SC_OFF -->I have an automation to open my grocery list when I arrive at the store. But most often I get this notification because my phone is locked. How do I get this to work if my phone is locked? <!-- SC_ON --> submitted by /u/Superb-Tonight-2144 (https://www.reddit.com/user/Superb-Tonight-2144)

<!-- SC_OFF -->Can someone confirm if I set up this automation correctly? I want to modify the default automation from One Sec app so that it only runs if the time is between Monday-Friday 8:30-5:30. I am pretty sure I did something wrong because the One Sec automation is still running even though today is Sunday. <!-- SC_ON --> submitted by /u/ta16512 (https://www.reddit.com/user/ta16512)

I am absolutely Shortcuts CHALLENGED

<!-- SC_OFF -->All I want to do is create a shortcut to launch NPR podcast. I have NO idea what I'm doing. (Disclaimer: I would consider myself an advanced Apple user. I have some type of mental block where it just does not compute on how to do this. Watched YT video- no help. Are there any other shortcuts that are really popular? Can someone create a shortcut which would allow my dad to send a custom message to each one of his contacts individually notifying them of his new phone number?
https://www.reddit.com/r/shortcuts/comments/1wxrwb5/can_someone_create_a_shortcut_which_would_allow/

<!-- SC_OFF -->Hello everybody, I’m the tech person in my family and my dad got a new phone number. The only issue is he has to share it to everyone in his contacts and he has quite a few and I have been trying for a little bit to create the shortcut myself, but I keep failing so I am super confused and I was wondering if someone could basically create it for me who actually knows what they’re doing. But the goal is shortcut is to allow my dad to select all of his contacts Then I would edit the message and then send a basic message that says *hello this is Bob. I got a new phone number please contact me at \[phone number\]* And then when I run the shortcut, it would send that message to every single one of his contacts individually. <!-- SC_ON --> submitted by /u/spacemanpilot (https://www.reddit.com/user/spacemanpilot)

s = SC()
with s.repeat(3):
s.show("Hello from Python")
These three lines are a complete shortcut: a Repeat block with a Show Result inside. unqforge turns code like this into a real, signed shortcut file that you open on your iPhone and add to Shortcuts.

𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗰𝘂𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗲.
Describe loops, menus, conditions and variables in readable Python. Long shortcuts stay short, and you can copy, share and keep them like any text.
𝗧𝘂𝗿𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝘆 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗰𝘂𝘁 𝗯𝗮𝗰𝗸 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗲.
Give unqforge a shortcut’s iCloud link and get its code back. It’s the quickest way to understand how a shortcut works, change it, and rebuild it.
𝗟𝗲𝘁 𝗔𝗜 𝘄𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗶𝘁.
Describe the shortcut you want. ChatGPT or Claude writes the code, and unqforge checks it before you sign it.
𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗶𝘁’𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲
Most tools that generate shortcuts guess at Apple’s file format, and the result can break without warning. unqforge only writes actions and settings that have been seen in shortcuts made on real iPhones. If something hasn’t been observed, it stops and shows you the exact line instead of producing a broken shortcut.

• 𝗕𝘂𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗔𝗜: ask ChatGPT or Claude directly (needs their app), follow the step-by-step guide (recommended, works with any AI), or copy a ready-made prompt.

• An internet connection is needed. The shortcut checks for updates when it starts.
• Your clipboard is only read when you choose a clipboard option.
• One file is saved: Shortcuts/unqforge/last-code.py on iCloud Drive, used by “Last code”.
• unqforge checks that every action exists, not that the logic is right. Test AI-written shortcuts before relying on them.
• “Ask ChatGPT” and “Ask Claude” need the ChatGPT or Claude app, installed and signed in.

Shortcut to send personalized texts (with each person's first name) to a list of contacts?
https://www.reddit.com/r/shortcuts/comments/1wxzsiz/shortcut_to_send_personalized_texts_with_each/

<!-- SC_OFF -->Hi all, I'm trying to build a Shortcut that sends the same SMS to a group of contacts, but with each person's first name at the start ("Hi [First Name], ..."). Have you made something similar? It would be great to know how it is done. Thanks in advance to everyone! <!-- SC_ON --> submitted by /u/ALPxAbe (https://www.reddit.com/user/ALPxAbe)

Simple "convert video" shortcut makes audio echo
https://www.reddit.com/r/shortcuts/comments/1wy0g0a/simple_convert_video_shortcut_makes_audio_echo/

<!-- SC_OFF -->I have a simple video converting shortcut that I use to downsize 4K videos recorded on my iPhone, and for whatever reason, the converted video always has its audio duplicated with a slight delay. I am unsure what to do to correct this, or even what causes it. Source videos do not have the issue. Any advice or alternative shortcuts would be appreciated. This is my shortcut. https://www.icloud.com/shortcuts/8b4f3b59fe004845923f84f8175bfb1c edit: see comments for evidence because apparently it only seems to affect me edit 2: solved by changing "spatial audio" to simply record stereo in the camera settings <!-- SC_ON --> submitted by /u/thefowles1 (https://www.reddit.com/user/thefowles1)

Reproduce Siri contact-picking behavior?
https://www.reddit.com/r/shortcuts/comments/1wy3pp2/reproduce_siri_contactpicking_behavior/

<!-- SC_OFF -->When I say, "Hey Siri, text Bob", there seems to be a whole cascade of steps to determine which contact I mean (check nicknames, check first names, check for phonetic matches, etc.), and which of the phone numbers associated with that contact to use. And when it truly can't decide, it asks me to choose among the selected contact's phone numbers, which I can do on-screen in CarPlay. Anybody have advice on how I can build something that does something equally effective? Kinda close? I just need a reasonably good chance of ending up with the right Bob's correct number. So far, I search for Name in contacts, hope there's exactly one match, then choose the first phone number. I can start recreating all the logic I see in Siri, but that feels painfully inefficient. And I have no idea how the phonetic matching works. <!-- SC_ON --> submitted by /u/shevelled1 (https://www.reddit.com/user/shevelled1)
