Some apps, like UniFi Protect, include an image with the notification. I think Instagram and WhatsApp may as well. I’ve successfully saved and displayed the notification text, which is useful for preserving unsent or deleted messages. But I can’t figure out any way to access or pass along the image attached to the notification.

The goal is to automatically create a task in the reminder app Todoist to call that person back. However, I’m running into an issue where multiple tasks are being created for the exact same missed call. It seems like the automation is triggering more than once during the incoming call/notification process. Like each vibration is considered a notification. I’ve tried using the storage function to block it for an hour when a person with same name calls, but I am still getting duplicated tasks. I am looking for a way to set it up so that it only creates one task per caller for a one-hour window. For the Todoist part I only need the call notification to set it up, after what I guess needs to be an IF section that checks wether or not caller name from notification title har been stored within the last over. Has anyone successfully built something similar using incoming call notification as a trigger, or does anyone have suggestions on how to block the duplicates from happening? <!-- SC_OFF -->Is this a glitch? I have this shortcut that I use to add invoice lines to an invoice sheet I have in numbers. It asks me a bunch of questions which I answer about the job, location, hours etc, then at the end it creates a new line at the bottom of the invoice items sheet in my invoices file. Now, every time it asks an extra question “which spreadsheet”, and even if I answer with the correct answer, it just repeats the question forever. The fact that it still works when I press the play button on the shortcut and type my responses indicates to me that it’s not the shortcut format that’s a problem but some sort of bug that’s been created by my new iOS update. Has anyone else experienced something similar. Part of my goal was to have it automatically launch Apple Maps directions, but the built-in Maps directions shortcut requires you to select a route and press GO in order to begin. After some searching, I discovered that you can create Apple Maps links to destinations and end them with &start=1; that will bypass the route selection/GO step. Sharing here in case others find it useful. My link format is like this: https://maps.apple.com/directions?destination=COORDINATES&destination-place-id=PLACEID&mode=driving&start=1 To get your destination and place id:
-Load up your desired destination in Apple Maps
-Use the share icon on the left and copy the share url
-Paste in a text editor and grab the numbers after “coordinate=“ and the text and numbers after “place-id=“
-Paste those two pieces of information into the url template above So if you wanted to make one that directs you from your current location to the Parliament of Canada, your link would be: https://maps.apple.com/directions?destination=45.425120,-75.699937&destination-place-id=ID93870BFA1C24B2B&mode=driving&start=1 My automation shortcut now looks like this, and it makes me happy:
-Runs when CarPlay connects

I have tried Just Timers, Countdowns, and Multitimers. They are all lacking a pretty basic feature in my opinion, which is just to not go into overtime when the countdown ends on apple watch and in the case of multitimers the ability to create timers through shortcuts for calendar events. I really struggle with losing track of time and staying on track with my calendar. So, I want something that I can keep on my apple watch and in other places that will automatically be updated by a shortcut and will automatically switch to the next due countdown on the apple watch complication instead of getting stuck in overtime to help me keep track of time and my next event. It's something I've thought about quite a few times and finally got around to making it happen. It toggles the connected AirPods between Transparency and Noise Cancellation. No prompt, no menu, no additional actions. From Noise Cancelling or Off it goes to Transparency, and from Transparency back to Noise Cancelling. The reason it's an AppleScript and not just actions: Apple's own "Set Noise Control Mode" action is iOS-only, and to my knowledge there's no macOS equivalent. So instead this drives Control Center's Sound panel directly. You'll see the panel flash open when it runs. That's unavoidable, the Listening Mode controls don't exist as accessibility elements until the panel is actually drawn. Two requirements: System Settings → Privacy & Security → Accessibility → enable Shortcuts. Without this you'll get error -25211. Your AirPods need "AirPods" in their name — that's how it finds them, so renamed ones without "airpods" won't work. I've only tested this on my mac (26.5.2), and I can imagine it might break on a different version. It depends on the layout of that Control Center panel. Anyway, hope someone finds it useful.
