Help with a daily briefing automation
https://www.reddit.com/r/shortcuts/comments/1x52irb/help_with_a_daily_briefing_automation/

<!-- SC_OFF -->I’m new to the shortcuts game but I’m looking for a way to create a daily family briefing that will send a text to my wife containing today’s date, the weather, my work schedule, and who is watching my daughter for the day. I have my work schedule and my daughter’s babysitting schedule synced in my calendar and was hoping for it to autofill that info every day, rather than manually entering. I know there’s a daily standup shortcut but it’s not exactly what I’m looking for <!-- SC_ON --> submitted by /u/WueyWu (https://www.reddit.com/user/WueyWu)

Should Shortcuts-Compatible Apps Have Their Own Subreddit?
https://www.reddit.com/r/shortcuts/comments/1x5375a/should_shortcutscompatible_apps_have_their_own/

<!-- SC_OFF -->For those of us who've been around since the Workflow days, Shortcuts was essentially a way to create mini-apps without knowing how to code or use Xcode. Over the years, third-party developers have helped fill gaps in Shortcuts by introducing functionality Apple hasn't provided. Other moderators as well as myself have always welcomed developers sharing their apps here, and I've maintained a Siri Shortcuts Apps collection on AppRaven (https://appraven.net/collection/72625323) for years to help users discover them. With AI making app development more accessible, we're seeing new Shortcuts-compatible apps posted almost daily. While I see this as a positive for the ecosystem, some members increasingly view these posts as advertisements. So, should we create a dedicated subreddit for Shortcuts-compatible apps? The idea would be a community for discovering apps, sharing updates, testing betas, and discussing their Shortcuts integrations. Proposed requirements: - Links: App Store, AppRaven, or TestFlight.
- Titles: Include the app name and developer.
- Integration: App must support or rely on the Shortcuts app by providing shortcuts actions or utilizing Shortcuts Automations.
- Description: Required comment explaining the app and its available Shortcuts actions.
- Flairs: Required and selectable App Store category (Productivity, Utilities, etc.).
- Posts: New apps, meaningful updates, TestFlight releases, and related discussions.
- Promotion: Developers welcome, but repetitive advertising discouraged. Anyone could submit an app that they find that's not listed, not just developers. This would create a community-maintained directory, reduce the need for me to track every app manually, and potentially allow new submissions to be fed to the Discord. Thoughts? Should we keep things as they are or give Shortcuts-compatible apps their own space? Instagram Media Saver v2.00
https://www.reddit.com/r/shortcuts/comments/1x557v3/instagram_media_saver_v200/

<!-- SC_OFF -->In case you're not aware, Instagram Media Saver is a shortcut I created and have been maintaining over the years. This shortcut downloads media from Instagram. Full instructions are available on the RoutineHub page. It's been a long time coming but I have finally decided to update Instagram Media Saver to v2.00 This version brings some subtle changes to the flow of how execution works. Changes from previous version Stories now perform a full story type download and lets you choose which items from the story you'd like to save Implemented a workaround to getting flagged as a bot / suspicious activity, which gets users banned or temporarily restricted Removed Features Multi-post download feature - due to lack of use and the complicated method Follower Analysis Safe usage From my extensive testing and a few beta testers' feedback, API abuse is no longer being flagged by Instagram and while the shortcut still relies on Scriptable, it appears to be a safe method moving forward. As always, let me know if there are any issues you encounter. You can get the shortcut at the links below: RoutineHub (https://routinehub.co/shortcut/5195/) Shortcuty (https://browse.shortcuty.app/shortcut/99146497-e109-4bec-9464-0282c38a8c76) <!-- SC_ON --> submitted by /u/mvan231 (https://www.reddit.com/user/mvan231)

Title: Is there a way to create an iOS Shortcut that opens Settings → Apple Account → Sign in with Apple directly?
https://www.reddit.com/r/shortcuts/comments/1x55wtk/title_is_there_a_way_to_create_an_ios_shortcut/

<!-- SC_OFF -->I’m trying to create an iPhone Shortcut that opens the Sign in with Apple settings page directly, where I can see all the apps and websites connected to my Apple Account.
I’ve found URL schemes that open Apple Account settings and its subpages, but I seriously haven’t been able to find one that actually opens the Sign in with Apple itself.
These are the URLs I’ve tested:
settings-navigation://com.apple.Settings.AppleAccount
settings-navigation://com.apple.Settings.AppleAccount/SIGN_IN_WITH_APPLE
settings-navigation://com.apple.Settings.AppleAccount/SignInWithApple
prefs:root=APPLE_ACCOUNT&path=SignInWithApple
prefs:root=APPLE_ACCOUNT&path=SIGN_IN_WITH_APPLE
The Apple Account URL opens Settings, and the following URL successfully opens Sign-In & Security:
settings-navigation://com.apple.Settings.AppleAccount/PASSWORD_AND_SECURITY
However, none of the Sign in with Apple paths for some reason that I’ve tried opened the actual page. They just take me back to the main Apple Account screen.
I’ve checked the community-maintained iOS Settings URL lists and searched for existing discussions, but I haven’t found a confirmed working solution.
Does anyone know the actual internal URL or path for the Sign in with Apple settings page on iOS 26? Is there a way to discover it, or does iOS simply not support deep-linking to this particular screen?
I’m looking for a solution that works with the built-in Shortcuts app, without installing another app or requiring a Mac.

Shortcuts app just crashes on iOS 27
https://www.reddit.com/r/shortcuts/comments/1x5ar4h/shortcuts_app_just_crashes_on_ios_27/

<!-- SC_OFF -->Hi all, since updating to iOS 27 I haven’t been able to access the shortcuts app at all!
It’s very frustrating. It opens to a black screen and crashes shortly thereafter. I have tried turning off iCloud sync, restarting my phone, reinstalling the app and doing all of these in various sequences!
Hopefully someone can help answer this. <!-- SC_ON --> submitted by /u/Amegotchi (https://www.reddit.com/user/Amegotchi)
