Makin hari makin benci Manado. Hampir semua orangnya buruk akhlaknya.

Apa sih yang tidak terbakar di Manado setiap hari sekarang ini? Antara senang dan sedih sih. Tapi aku kasihan dengan pak walikota.
Yes, this is literally me. Apparently “I hate chess” and “I want to play another game” can coexist, let's say it's a toxic relationship. I am also still confused as to why I play chess almost every day, whether it's just to win, or to increase my rating, or to think.

Anyway, add me on Chess.com guys. This is my profile: https://www.chess.com/member/sofiaflorina
Happy International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste (IDAFLW), 29 September, 2026. 2026 Theme: "Transformative Potential of Reducing Food Loss and Waste." Reducing food loss and waste helps to protect natural resources and biodiversity, reduce pollution and greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and maximise the use of food produced.

There is more than enough food produced in the world to feed everyone on the planet, yet around 700 million people are still hungry. Even more sadly, much of the food that has been produced ends up being wasted.

Happy International Day of Awareness of Food Loss and Waste (IDAFLW), 29 September, 2026. 2026 Theme: "Transformative Potential of Reducing Food Loss and Waste." Reducing food loss and waste helps to protect natural resources and biodiversity, reduce pollution…
Please be aware that currently there are:

1. An estimated 13% of food produced is lost globally after harvest and prior to reaching retail shelves based on the most recent estimates (FAO, 2019).
2. Recently updated estimates showed that a frightening 19% of food available to consumers – the equivalent of 1.05 billion tonnes – is wasted either by being discarded at retail, in food service settings, or thrown away by households. That’s almost one fifth of all food that reaches the end of the supply chain (UNEP, 2024).
3. Collectively, we waste a lot of food at home. In fact, a staggering 60% of food waste is wasted at the household level, 28% from food service, and 12% from retail (UNEP, 2024).
4. While all this food is being lost and wasted, an estimated one in thirteen people worldwide experienced hunger in 2025, representing between 608 and 696 million people (7.4-8.5 percent of the global population). Moreover, an estimated 2.1 billion people - 25.8 percent of the global population - experienced moderate or severe food insecurity (FAO, 2026).
5. According to the latest estimates, approximately 2.69 billion (32.7 percent) people in the world cannot afford a healthy diet (FAO, 2026). Among the various food groups, fruits and vegetables - a key component of a nutritious diet - experience the highest percentage of losses, further aggravating this global challenge (FAO, 2019).
6. Food loss and waste also contributes to 10% of global greenhouse gas emissions (FAOSTAT, 2025), impacting climate change and environmental sustainability. Reducing food loss and waste is therefore a climate solution, which countries and communities can employ to reduce greenhouse gas emissions and protect natural resources (IPCC, 2019).
7. Food that is never eaten uses up 28% of the world’s agricultural land area (FAO, 2013).
8. The global land occupation footprint of food loss and waste, which is the total hectares used to grow food that ends up not being consumed, is about 1.4 billion hectares (FAO, 2013), which is larger than Canada or China.
9. Food loss is also a market failure, representing an estimated annual loss of US$400 billion in food value (FAO, 2019).
10. Food waste results in the throwing away of more than US$1 trillion worth of food every year (UNEP, 2024).

Food loss and waste undermine the sustainability of our food systems. When food is lost or wasted, all the resources that were used to produce this food - including water, land, energy, labour and capital - go to waste. In addition, the disposal of food loss and waste in landfills, leads to greenhouse gas emissions, contributing to climate change.

Food loss and waste can also negatively impact food security and food availability, and contribute to increasing the cost of food. Every action taken to reduce food loss and food waste matters. I personally have been doing this since I was a child, thanks to my family.

All parties must be aware of this: consumers, civil society, businesses, academia, and governments. Food and Agricultural Organization (FAO) and United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) are the leading agencies for this day.

Happy World Teachers' Day, 5 October, 2026. 2026 Theme: "Standing With Teachers". This year's celebration marks the 60th anniversary of the 1966 ILO/UNESCO Recommendation concerning the Status of Teachers, which is an international standard that addresses the status and situations of teachers around the world.

This theme highlights ongoing global challenges in the field of education. Today, teachers educate learners in a world shaped by rapid technological change, including artificial intelligence, as well as climate change, conflict, displacement, persistent inequalities and increasingly diverse learning environments.

These pressures affect several dimensions of the status of teachers: their symbolic status, when teaching is not sufficiently recognized or valued; their professional status, shaped by limited autonomy, support or voice in policy-making; and their material status, compromised by salaries, workloads and working environments that do not allow teachers to fully exercise their role.

Protecting and promoting the status of teachers requires more than acknowledging the importance of the profession. It demands concrete action to enhance the esteem accorded to teachers and the support provided for their work. This is reflected in the resources invested in schools and teachers, the quality of their working conditions, and the confidence placed in teachers' professional judgement.

On this World Teachers’ Day, UNESCO, the ILO, UNICEF and Education International call on governments and partners to stand with teachers by advancing the status of the profession and ensuring that every teacher, everywhere, is empowered to help build more inclusive, peaceful and sustainable societies.

World Teachers' Day is a day to celebrate how teachers are transforming education but also to reflect on the support they need to fully deploy their talent and vocation, and to rethink the way ahead for the profession globally.

Happy birthday to myself. Now I am 21 years old!

Thank you my friends for your birthday wishes to my 21st birthday. May you all live long and may our relationship last forever.
In this late late 2026, I'm in my academic victim era. This is the first time since I started university that I've felt like this. My seventh semester is really killing me. Usually I get ideas easily but this time it's difficult.

This also doesn't include the many books that are hard to find online because the publishers only care about profit. Luckily there are many kind-hearted pirated websites who provide those books for free. Knowledge cannot be limited by copyright.
