Happy International Day of Awareness of the Special Development Needs and Challenges of Landlocked Developing Countries, 6 August, 2025. 2025 Theme: "#LockedOut: Breaking Barriers, Driving Connectivity". This year marks the first celebration of this international day. This international day is designated based on the UN General Assembly Resolution A/RES/79/320 on 17 July, 2025.

This day is important because there are 600 million people living in 32 Landlocked Developing Countries (LLDCs), facing hard development hurdles due to lack of sea access, geographical isolation, and trade costs that are 30% higher than those of coastal countries. Of course, those of us who come from countries with coastlines will find it difficult to imagine what their lives are like.

Of the 32 LLDCs, 16 are located in Africa, 10 are located in Asia, 4 are located in Europe, and 2 are located in South America. The smallest is Bhutan by less than one million people and the largest is Ethiopia by 135 million people. The severity of the challenges faced by the them is further enhanced as 16 of the 32 LLDCs are Least Developed Countries (LDCs) and approximately 40% of their urban population lives in slums or around 100 million people.

Let's us ensure that no one is left behind in our pursuit of sustainable development, wherever they are in our beloved Earth. Stay connected with all those landlocked countries, especially the developing ones which we call them by the abbreviation LLDCs.

One day, for sure, Afghanistan will be free from the Taliban. May the Afghan people, especially the women, free from the Taliban.
Don't forget to write your diary.

Even though Indonesia is one of the most toxic countries on the internet, subjectively, it's still easier to find good Indonesians on the internet than Indians. Searching for good Indians on the internet is like looking for a needle in a haystack. This is based on my personal experience okay.
Happy International Day of World's Indigenous Peoples, 9 August, 2025. 2025 Theme: “Indigenous Peoples and AI: Defending Rights, Shaping Futures”. This theme conveys the message that artificial intelligence (AI) can be used to protect the rights of indigenous peoples.

Of course, as we know that AI is risky and therefore we must use it appropriately and for good purposes. In this case, we can use AI to protect the rights of indigenous peoples. In fact, in the AI training process, input about indigenous peoples in the data sets should be included because mostly they are excluded.

If left alone there will be more and more biased or misleading information about indigenous people from AI. Technology, including AI, must be able to be used to represent cultural identities. Indigenous peoples around the world are now exploring AI, they expect that AI can represent them and AI must represent them.

Of course it takes time because the AI mechanism is complex especially the data that it needs. Data processing takes time and the data processed should be correct, precise, and in accordance with reality. Hopefully AI developers around the world understand this.

The Painting "Queen of Sheba" by Edward C. Slocombe, 1907. Queen of Sheba or Saba, also known as Bilqis in Arabic or Makeda in Ge'ez, is a figure mentioned in the Hebrew Bible. According to the original story, she brings a caravan of valuable gifts to Solomon, king of Israel and Judah.

Stories about her exist extensively in Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. She is one of the most famous legends in West Asia and Northeast Africa, including regions which have significant influences from Abrahamic religions. I personally know her from Islamic sources first because I was a Muslim.

The historicity of her is disputed among many historians and archaeologists because evidence of her existence has never been found except in religious sources themselves. However, because the Kingdom of Sheba or simply Saba did exist, in Southern Arabia, then she may have existed too.

If she ever existed, then blessed be she, for she was one of the wise figures who desired to know the knowledge and wisdom of Solomon.
SpaceHey has far better server than Wplace. Change my mind.
Trying to create the flag of Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia in my city on Wplace.
Apparently, pro-ana is still a thing, although it's harder to find them now to be compared with 10 to 15 years ago. I thought this had become an internet relic, well not really . The difference is that now it is not as organized as before, now it is more about how individuals 'show off' their condition (sometimes about the tips). Well, I feel not really good talking about this actually, a bit uncomfortable. We don't want another Cassie, do we?
I think that's what makes a game more lively, its side quests. I'm usually like that, finishing all the side quests first before going through the main storyline, especially if the quests are time-limited. How about you?
