Mark Zuckerberg Criticizes Apple's Vision Pro: "Not What I Want"
In a recent statement, the head of Meta, Mark Zuckerberg, expressed his lack of concern regarding the highly-publicized announcement by Apple. He believes that Apple's device does not showcase any significant technological breakthroughs that his own company is not already exploring.
According to Zuckerberg, Meta's vision of how people will use gadgets differs from Apple's vision. He explained: their upcoming headset Meta Quest 3 is about new ways of interaction between people, fostering a sense of closeness, and engaging in various activities.
In contrast, regarding the Vision Pro, Zuckerberg noted that every demonstration provided by Apple featured a person sitting alone on a couch.
By the way, the new Meta Quest 3 headset will be significantly cheaper than the Vision Pro, with a price of $499 compared to $3,499.

Meta is building a home robot
Meta created a prototype humanoid robot, Max, in three months. Developed with Fourier, the 1.5-meter machine uses an Nvidia chip and five-finger hands to handle domestic tasks. 🤖
Engineers are already building Max 2 to navigate stairs. Although currently an internal experiment, this marks Meta’s push to bring AI into physical home environments.
