The head of Spotify announced the neural network translation of podcasts into foreign languages. The podcaster uploads its releases as usual, and the service duplicates them with its own voice into other languages.

So far, this is a pilot project with three popular conversational podcasts — Armchair Expert, Diary of a CEO and Lex Friedman's podcast. It was done a little clumsily and poorly: there is only one dubbing, into Spanish, and the translation is simply published in a separate release. And it's still only about audio content, although Spotify allows you to watch video podcasts. But the cool thing is that this technology is already coming to popular services.
