Anita, 27, BA graduate from Kasturba Gandhi College, Delhi, aimed to empower rural women. After training under the Mahila Shakti Kendra scheme, she started a learning center in her village. She taught women basic literacy and life skills. Children also joined her evening classes. She used books and charts provided by the National Literacy Mission. With local support, she set up a small blackboard and seating mats.she introduced digital lessons using tablets under the Digital India programme. She helped women open bank accounts under Jan Dhan Yojana. She also guided them in applying for PM Kaushal Vikas Yojana courses. Soon, many women began earning through stitching and handicrafts. Her work created awareness and independence. A nearby NGO offered support and resources. Her center became a model for nearby villages. Locals appreciated her tireless efforts.
