❤️ Can anyone help a lady in need in Dagenham? ❤️
Hi everyone, I’m hoping our lovely local community might be able to help a lady who has recently been offered a property through Dagenham Council.
Although the property is lovely, she has very little to furnish it with and needs some essential household items to help her make it a home.
We have put together a wish list of items needed, including:
🛏️ A bed and mattress
📺 A TV
🍳 A cooker
🧺 A washing machine
🏠 Other household essentials
If anyone has any of these items they no longer need and would be willing to donate, it would be very much appreciated.
We are unable to collect items, so donations would need to be delivered. Her carer is happy to act as a drop-off point on Becontree Avenue, RM8, for anyone who is able to help.
We know times are difficult for everyone, but if you have anything sitting unused that could help someone in need, it would make a real difference.

Please help if you are able to help, we have a lady sleeping in a park she’s been waiting for two days for street link to go out to her but is desperate for warmer sleeping bag and a tent, she also needs warm clothes and some food. If anyone is able to contribute towards these items so we can get things to her as she doesn’t want to leave the spot she’s sleeping on in case she misses street link.

❤️ CHRISTMAS APPEAL – HELP US SUPPORT ROUGH SLEEPERS THIS WINTER ❤️
Every year, around Christmas, we reach out to our wonderful community to ask for support in helping those who are homeless and sleeping rough on our streets.
With the generosity of the public, we purchase hundreds of Greggs gift cards, which we distribute to people who are homeless. These cards allow them to pop into Greggs and get themselves a hot drink, a sausage roll or something warm to eat when they need it most.
For many of us, grabbing a coffee or something to eat is something we barely think twice about. But for someone sleeping rough, particularly during the cold winter months, it can make a real difference.
Christmas can be an especially difficult time for those living on the streets. There are fewer people around, fewer passers-by offering to buy food, and once Christmas Day has passed, the period between Christmas and New Year can be particularly quiet. This can leave some of the most vulnerable people with very little food or support.
That’s why we’d love to continue this little initiative and make sure we can reach as many people as possible.
If you’re in a position to contribute towards even one Greggs gift card, it would be hugely appreciated. Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps us put a little warmth, kindness and food into someone’s day.
Let’s come together once again and remind those who may feel forgotten over Christmas that people do care.
