Sulfonation Workshop Supervisor Jobs
Responsibilities.
Production and process management
Β§ Execute gas phase/membrane sulfonation and other processes, monitor SOβ concentration, reaction temperature and other parameters to ensure stable output of LAS products; optimize the process (such as reducing free acid, improving raw material utilization), and formulate operating instructions.
Quality control
Β§ Supervise in-process control analysis (active substance content, pH value, sodium chloride, etc.) to ensure that sulfonic acid/neutralized products meet the formula requirements of washing powder and other formulas; check for process fluctuations (such as excessive sulfonation, carbonization), stabilize color, purity and other indicators through parameter adjustment, and cooperate with quality inspection to trace unqualified products.
Security and Emergency Management
Β§ Enforce hazardous chemicals regulations: employees are required to wear chemical protective clothing and gas masks, ventilation/eyewash stations are provided, and unauthorized personnel are prohibited from entering; equipment inspections + regular drills (leakage, fire, etc.) are carried out, contingency plans are formulated (such as closing valves for SOβ leaks, dry powder fire extinguishing), and water is strictly prohibited to extinguish chemical fires; a hidden danger reporting mechanism is implemented, and 6S management is implemented to ensure on-site safety.
Equipment maintenance
Β§ Formulate lubrication/inspection plans for key equipment such as reactors and SOβ generators, coordinate machine repairs and troubleshooting, and reduce unplanned downtime; maintain auxiliary facilities such as exhaust gas absorption towers and neutralization systems to ensure accurate instruments and extend equipment life.
Environmental protection and compliance
Β§ Manage exhaust systems such as alkali scrubbing towers to control SOβ/SOβ emissions to meet standards; classify waste acids/wastewater, store and label them in special containers, cooperate with environmental monitoring, and promote cleaner production.
Team and site management
Β§ For team scheduling, skills training (process + safety) and performance appraisal, tasks and risks will be communicated before the shift; 6S (fixed placement, clear markings) will be implemented to keep the site clean and improve operational standardization.
Qualifications.
Β§ Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Chemistry, Process Technology or a related field.
