People went out in peaceful demonstrations, raising clear and simple demands:

●The right to self-determination
●No to sectarianism
●Stop the killing
●Release the detainees

These demands carry no weapons, do not call for violence, and do not threaten anyone’s life,
but they are humanitarian and rights-based demands guaranteed by all laws and international conventions.
Despite the peaceful nature of the movement, these demonstrations were met with attacks using bladed weapons and live gunfire, resulting in injuries and innocent civilian casualties, by the terrorist de facto
authority.
